The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The welcome package was greatly appreciated. The toiletries supplied were excellent. We noted that there were no slippers supplied this time unlike our previous stays. Also we did leave out a please service this room sign on the second day, which seems to have been misread as do not disturb. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful, modern apartment in the best location. balcony overlooking the River Ness and right in the centre of things, however, we did not hear any street noise at all.. Luxurious feeling even on entering the building (secure with passcode entry). 2 bedroom apartment was huge, VERY clean with everything that could be needed and beautifully decorated and maintained. Great communication prior to arrival and added bonus of knock on the door on our first morning checking if we needed the apartment serviced (we didn't, but nice and unexpected). Very minimal (and certainly didn't impact our stay) but could maybe benefit from a hand rail to exit the over bath shower in the main bathroom which is quite high, not an issue as there is another on suite shower if needed. Good value for money for the quality and location of this apartment
We had a wonderful stay. Location was perfectly central. The accommodation and quality throughout the apartment were first class and we made time to enjoy all the facilities on offer. Perfect venue for our family trip!
Absolutely love our stays at the highland apartments and this time we took my parents with us
They too loved their stay and said they’d be back
Ideal location
Quiet building
All the amenities although the TV updated since our past visits and was a little tricky to navigate with all the update apps etc
Breakfast basket was a lovely surprise too
Clean, tidy and all we needed for a weekend away
Brilliant place! It has all the amenities you need. I was travelling for work, and it truly felt like a home from home. Perfect location and very comfortable. A great place to stay — highly recommended!
I assumed the apts wd be suitable for disabled as they have lifts. There were steps from the car park to the lift. You can't park at the front door. We had to be moved as there were steps down to living room and bedroom. My mum needs assistance with steps and is up to the toilet during the night. We were moved as luckily another apt was available which was good. Level 3 button didn't work on one lift and the basement button didn't work on the other. I took the lift with my mum to the ground floor as it was the one that opened at level 3 and the one with the broken basement button. Because it stopped at the ground floor the other lift wdn't. I had to leave my mum at the ground floor, get back in the lift, go to floor one and run down the stairs to press button for other lift to come, to get to the basement then lift my mum's stroller up the stairs and help her up the stairs to the car park. The apts are not suitable for disabled people. A ramp instead of stairs outside the car park, fixing the lift buttons and ensuring it was highlighted that some apts had stairs would resolve this. The gentleman who organised another apt was efficient and kind.
A great location for both the town and the view. The entire flat was immaculate and very well supplied with everything required for a very pleasant stay.
The underground parking was a godsend. Definitely somewhere we will be booking again.
I absolutely loved our time there! It was amazing located, friendly, clean, comfortable. We had a very good time in Inverness with the Highland apartments. I totally recommend 🥰
Great location with best view in town. Atmosphere is great, the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Fantastic apartment, unfortunately we only stayed 1 night. Underground parking was very handy. Plus location couldn't have been better.
Great location and a very comfortable apartment. Has everything you might need except a working lift. Unfortunately we booked it because it had a lift. It seems the lifts have been on and off for a few months according to another owner of a unit. Ok if you are young a fit but not when you are in your 70’s and walk with a stick.
Great stay as always in very comfortable surroundings and access to a parking garage. On arrival the lift to number 3 wasn’t working but by the time we left was fixed great service during holiday season. Inverness was quieter as no entertainment in the northern meeting park on New Year’s Eve which has affected business . Big loss for many and I’m sure many would have paid for the entertainment, we would anyway.
Is there a rating better than “perfect”? Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time in Inverness. Great location, scenic views of river, secure parking and comfortable, clean apartment.
Our stay was lovely, but the headache leading up to it was not. We traveled with a large group of family in multiple rooms and at one point I had to cancel a of couple rooms. They cancelled our entire reservation instead and after I caught it and asked to be rebooked, they booked the wrong dates. Unfortunately I didn't realize the dates were incorrect until a week before our arrival, so they were booked up, wouldn't refund me the incorrect date, and it left me scrambling to find another place to stay with a large group. The app never worked for me, the confirmation link still listed too many rooms, and I was constantly digging through emails to find information.
Despite that headache, the few days we did stay were great. It was a quiet place with spacious rooms, a big kitchen, a washer with a drying function, multiple bathrooms, and a comfy bed. The balcony views of the river were fantastic - although be careful stepping out onto them, I wiped out as they were very slick and moss covered from the rain. The apartments are surrounded by restaurants, pubs, shopping, and a nice river walk. A quick 10 minute walk to the train station made it a very convenient stay.
Tha apartment has a beautiful view of the river Ness and the surrounding hills from its location. It is beautiful and well decorated and very comfortable apart from the lack of proper heating. With all the beautiful full length windows that obviously let's in the warmth in Summer, and the cold in Winter. the one very old storage heater in the room cannot keep the open plan room warm enough. We felt the cold, the bedrooms have curtains that keep in the heat.
A wonderful stay. A view of the river and castle. Liberal breakfast basket. Everything is clean, high quality, and it all works. We loved it!
Really nice clean apartments right in the heart of the city. Was pleasantly surprised by the price. Would definitely consider booking again.
Spacious and well-presented apartment in excellent location. Washing machine, but no dryer.
Underground parking at a cost. Many spaces quite tight. Entry by code which was not activated when we first arrived but was once we phoned for assistance.
The biggest disappointment was the lack of security. The door to the front of the building was open because of previous damage - so anyone could access the building. The large terraces were not secure as anyone could access from the end of the corridor. We were woken twice during our stay. On the first occasion, at 1.30am, 6 police officers were in the corridor - one knocked loudly on the door - they were responding to someone throwing eggs off the balcony. Not us! Then 5 nights later, at 10.30pm, someone rattled the door handle of our apartment and called out to be let in - he took quite some convincing to go away. It was very unnerving. As there are no on-site staff, there was no-one to call for help.
My husband and I was very impressed the moment we walked into the apartment.
It smelled beautiful and was very clean warm and inviting.
Two lovely large comfortable sofas with a lovely view of the castle.
Lovely equipped kitchen with lots of complimentary tea coffee and hot chocolate along with herbal teas and milk.
The bedroom and bed was huge and very comfortable along with en-suite and lovely waterfall shower with luxury top end shampoos and body washes etc.
really nice touch.
Good communication from booking and paying for our 4 night stay which was very reasonable.
We have been staying in this apartment block for many years as it’s such a good location to eat out in the many restaurants in walking distance and also travel out to the highlands, but not stayed with highland and Mansley apartments before, so glad we switched last minute and stayed here with them.
Very impressed and will definitely be staying again with them.
Thank you so much 🩷
It was so central and we had the most beautiful view of river and a massive balcony to enjoy the view. The whole apartment is stunning and it’s spotlessly clean with everything provided you’d need for a stay even milk/tea bags and coffee.
