Pros:

Atmosphere and gardens very nice.

Cons:

Checked out beach chair, got down to the sand and the whole seat was ripped out. Had to check out hair dryer. Stayed on bottom floor and was very noisy from upstairs rooms.

Always a great stay
Pros:

The rooms and property grounds are always very clean and well maintained. The staff is always friendly, professional and very helpful. That said, location, location, location! Right across the street from the beach.

Nice place to stay. Close beach access.
Pros:

The setting was like it's own little oasis. You can feel like you are in Hawaii.
Tall palms, flowers, fire pits every night. Coffee, juice, bananas, and snack pasteries were available for breakfast.

Cons:

Our room got switched over to the pool area. It was pretty noisy with big families on spring break.
I would have preferred our original room which had a little bit of a sundown view, but the lock wasn't working when we arrived. The room we were switched to was an "upgrade," in size and bathroom, but the view and quiet setting was more attractive to me.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Palms Beach Resort in Carlsbad, CA from February 15–16. The property is beautifully maintained, with a relaxed coastal atmosphere that immediately made the trip feel like a true getaway. Fantastic stay at the Ocean Palms Beach Resort.
Pros:

The grounds were immaculate. The rooms were super clean. The staff was wonderful one of the best things about this resort is that you never have to get back in your car you can walk everywhere. Also, it is really close to the Coaster which will take you to downtown San Diego. Beau from the office was friendly and provided helpful information.
