Purely the heat in our room. There was a fan already in there but with the heatwave- throughout the night it was just a noisy distraction moving warm air around. The room itself was stunning. Maybe invest in low noise fans/air conditioning
Perfect setting.
Need to sort out TV reception, but nothing to serious as pub next door is rather lovely, so go for a drink and a meal whilst you are there.
We loved The Pilgrim! Our room was great, and spotlessly clean. The staff were really helpful with everything - letting us store our bikes in their garage when we weren't using them was especially appreciated!
We had dinner and breakfast at the inn, and everything we had was delicious.
Genuinely can't recommend this place highly enough for a New Forest trip. We'll definitely be back!

Stayed on a hot day, in the evening the room was too hot and uncomfortable. You couldn't open the windows without having the curtains open. Bright lights from the car park lit up the bedroom. It was either a hot stuffy room all night or lights shining in the room. Resulting in very little sleep. The TV reception was really poor.
That’s an amazing place, such a nice team and yummy food.
