Very cool place to stay in Chiang Mai.
It’s located near the amazing Art Village, which is filled with many handmade stores, souvenirs, and local businesses, as well as charming tea and coffee shops and restaurants. The lobby staff is always smiling, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The place is very clean, with good housekeeping keeping the building spotless. Internet is provided by the hotel via daily cards. While the data speed could be better, we didn’t face any issues since we always use our travel eSIMs. As developers working on our metaverse project, we require a perfect internet connection, so having travel eSIMs is essential for us.
This is a nice place to stay, whether short or long term. The building is secure and closed at night for safety.
Thank you, and best of luck to the owners with their business!
Very clean simple price is reasonable
I stayed Chiangmai one month at The Passion .
I highly recommened who want to stay in clean and comfortable place with art and kraft workshops just few foot steps from The Passion.
The owner has a lot of price options for guest to choose.
At the Passion, it has a worry free price for short term stay that let me comfort to stay here.
I choose 6900 baht per month price (low season)which include electricity , wifi and water .
I will come back here again in winter time.
In the corner of the room has many dust. Water leak in the restroom.
I booked this place as I was going to the Wat Ram Poeng for a 26 days vipassana meditation retreat and it was the closest hotel (If it can be called a hotel) . when I arrived to check in there was no recording of my booking a part from my name written on a table calendar, the two young guys in charge of the place were not sure about my booking as started making phone calls to somebody, and asking me questions such where I booked, how I paid, etc. after around 30 min, they reluctantly gave me the key for my room. the room was I expected, simple, but very clean. there's nothing around the place, you will have to rent a motorbike or call uber to get around.
Simply and clean place in Wat Umong and Wat Ram Pheng Area.
My last visit made me more appreciate this place because now this areas quite popular for art lover. This place located just 200 m. to lovely hidden cafe called" Begin Again"
And 200 m.to lovely art village" Baan Kang Wat"
Really liked this place. Friendly and clean. Quite a way from town though bit in location I wanted so was perfect.
The hotel staff were wonderful. Very friendly. Clean room, aircon, Free water. There is a laundry mat and shop to buy drinks, as well as cafe and several shops up the road to eat about 100m away.
While it might not be in the heart of the city, it is nearby. It is a nice, clean brand-new hotel with a balcony. Hot water, flat screen television (although we never turned it), a refrigerator, & a very, very firm bed. It is reasonably priced. It isn't too far from a a few nice restaurants and coffee houses. If you have transportation, it's especially ideal. The rooms are cleaned daily. The hotel manager is kind and can arrange scooter rentals or transportation if needed. There is a laundry service next door, as well as a small convenience store. There is wifi BUT each user has to pay for it. That is the first time in our 3 months travelling in SE Asia we encountered that, but it is a nominal fee.
The Passion Hotel was difficult to find - so make sure you have the name and address written in Thai! It was a bit of a laugh finding the place especially when the Tuk Tuk driver pulled over to many people asking for 'passion' hahaha.
Once we (he) found the hotel - the feeing of being lost and unsure whether the driver would find passion was soon replaced by happiness.
The Passion Hotel is clean, bright and modern. It's situated along side some very interesting and beautiful temples - and you can walk into town if you like a bit of a hike.
Stop looking for affordable and clean hotels right now and book this one!
Happy travels.
I visited art village" Baan Kang Wat" to visit my friend booth at Swasdee Kraft festival.
The passion located just 100 m. to art village so it's location suitable for all of us.
This place is warm, friendly, easy going and feel like home away from home.Highly recommened to stay with quite cheap compare with clean room and service
