An entertaining stay at the SI Resort
Pros:

First- an excellent location.
The SI Resort appears to be a fresh operation: the staff was fantastic and a really over-the-top happy hour that became a must-do.
The rooms are very funky (?): odd layouts, original decorations, a bit retro.

Cons:

Quite pricey (but maybe not by Chicago standards). There are few amenities.

Great place to stay when in Chicago. Easy access to the river, the loop and Michigan Avenue.
Pros:

Great big room with excellent accommodations. Great location and nice views of the city. The 26th floor rooftop happy hour was great!

Cons:

Very small lobby.

Location was good. Big room.

Cons:

20 minute wait to check in - slow and antiquated process. Zero housekeeping - they do not do it daily. Nobody ever answered phone for requests for towels etc. for $500/night this is a joke.

Underwhelming and with the added costs of the city added up quick with not enough value
Pros:

Was a good location and happy hour was a nice bonus

Cons:

No housekeeping for the price they need to have something. Things felt a bit cheap. Bedsheets were ripped.

Nice people working there.

Cons:

Everything else. Dirty, unsafe, ongoing construction, no amenities. We left after an hour and lost our money. Ended up at the Westin. Waste of money.

Not worth the money.
Bathroom facilities do not match the price. They should improve on that front.
