Pros:

This is a great hotel in the waterfront and Marina district of Messolonghi. Beautiful in summer. I've also stayed there in winter too.

Pros:

Rooms good size noice tho bathrooms very old to take a shower water everywhere on the floor no shower curtain at all very difficult

Pros:

A Hotel Palace built in the 60th with lots of vintage charme and very well kept. Very good staff and great view to the Laguna. Quiet Place at the sea side with few tourists

Pros:

In the Theoxenia Hotel, 1960 is alive and well and wants you back. It is a stunning (or bizarre) display of mid-century aesthetic. The rooms in the newer hall have been revitalized and overhauled. They are fine if not luxurious. Hot water is fine, and the breakfast buffet quite good. It has a nice location near the lagoons. All in all, good or very good. Go for the architecture.

Pros:

Messalonghi has mostly Greek tourists and some international yachting folk. This means the prices are great. The restauranrs all along the port around are fab and the hotel is in a perfect spot. It is an older hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean and fresh linen each day.

Το προσωπικό ευγενικό και πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Η τοποθεσία πολύ καλή. Εξωτερικά το ξενοδοχείο είναι πολύ όμορφο, αλλά χρειάζεται επειγόντως ανακαίνιση. Είναι σε τόσο καλό σημείο που αν ήταν ανακαινισμένο θα μπορούσε να χρεωθεί το δωμάτιο τα διπλά από όσα δώσαμε.

A pretty nice hotel.It could use a makeover and was clearly very nice in its heyday. However, the staff was friendly and the view of the lagoon quite pleasant; the breakfast buffet was excellent! For an added bonus, the small restaurant up the causeway in Tourlida was a great - and close - dinner spot.

Old and outdated... Smelled like smoke.
Pros:

Super dated decor mixed with carpet that hasn't been changed in 40 yrs and paint on so many surfaces it was sad. This place looked great online, but was in sad shape. It wasn't worth the price and aside from the gorgeous view from the walk below, there's nothing good I will remember from my time here.

Blast from the disco-rific past...
Pros:

Man, this hotel must have been a freaking swank Euro-trash paradise when built in the 1970s - too bad nothing has really been changed since... Well, aside from the bathrooms in the lobby. If you're into weird, kitschy style from the time when the lapels were large and so were the afros, this place is for you. If you want to feel completely at ease walking barefoot on the carpet in the rooms, not so much.
