Quiet and Safe
Pros:

Olive Garden is my go to hotel in Kampala because it is safe, in a very quiet neighborhood, moderately priced relative to chain hotels and the major hotels downtown, and the staff is genuinely nice and accommodating. When I ask for assistance for anything the staff is ready to help with a smile.

Pros:

Staff on board are not reliable.
Bathroom shower comes in drops.
not enough towels, only one towel per family.
Restaurant service is not good.
The only good in this hotel is the Neighborhood.

Rustig hotel, niet beloofd was.
Pros:

Leuk en rustig hotel. Gelegen in een villa wijk aan de rand van een industrie terein in Kampala. Het ligt net te ver van de stad om er naar toe te lopen en niet ver genoeg buiten de stad om de rust te hebben. Het ligt vlak aan een riviertje met veel begroeiing, maar daardoor barstte het ook van de muggen.
Personeel is aardig en behulpzaam.
Eten in het restaurant is eenvoudig, maar goed.
De kamer is voldoende en net. De beloofde flatscreen met international zenders viel tegen (geen flatscreen, slechte ontvangst en slechts een paar kanalen). Tevens waren er geen koffiezetter/ waterkoker aanwezig en bestond de beloofde toiletartikelen uit een stukje zeep. Er was alleen een badhanddoek aanwezig, geen handdoek bij de wastafel en op de grond.
Wel een fijn balkon, maar geen stoelen.
