The location and views are superb. The staff was very polite and helpful.
Since the hotel is located away from the town, the restaurant needs to have a better menu and also make sure all items are available. A second restaurant would be even better. The breakfast needs improvement. We had some dinners at the restaurant - the food was well cooked but most of the things on the menu were unavailable. There was a cafe which was non- functional.
The gardens and location.
There was no internet throughout our stay. They gave expired drinks and then made up for it by offering dinner. No beer. Food was ok. We struggled with deciding what to eat. The best part were the staff. They were nice. Specifically Ritesh, Deepak and Sunil.
The breakfast was excellent except when we had to check out at 7AM for the airport we asked for a breakfast as parcel that was substandard.
The staff was very courteous and supportive especially of one staff Mr. Swastik who made our stay very comfortable and hospitable.
The long walk to the room from reception up and down was tiring more of an exercise.
Receptionist named Bejoy was really helpful
Amenities could have been upgraded according to chargescharged.
Hospitality
Breakfast/food for adult is good. However, there wasn’t a choice for the kids. The breakfast made available are mostly spicy which my kid couldn’t eat. Hence, it would have been meat on the bone if there were kid’s food/breakfast menu included.

Sinclares Resort is such a gem! The entire property is meticulously maintained and nicely decorated with beautiful landscaping. The premium room is spacious and bedding is clean and comfortable. They provide you with a heater during winter time so the room is plenty warm. The best part is the hot shower which is so much better compared to other equally expensive hotels we stayed across India. You can take a really comfortable shower without worrying about the hot water running out in the middle of the shower which happened to us in other hotels. Also, you won’t get bored just staying in the hotel because there are many things you can do, from badminton court to ping pong table, to spa service. The food is excellent and thoughtfully prepared. Needless to say the mountain view is spectacular. What’s even better than the view is the staff in the resort. From reception to restaurant, everyone greeted us with excellent services and care. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken good care of. They truly made us feel at home. I’d like to express my appreciation to Gautam, Koushik, Swastik, Saurav, Shovan, Subrata, and Ankita for making our stay a memorable experience. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who plan to visit Kalinpong.
