My room was very cute and the bed extremely comfortable. The bar area of the hotel is lovely and the breakfast was extremely generous and varied. I had a lovely stay.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn´t like. It would have been nice to have had a room with a view but I hadn´t asked for one so didn´t expect it, as I had booked fairly late so was grateful just to get a room. I couldn´t find a hairdryer and it would have been good to have one, but I wasn´t desperate enough to ring down and ask for one to be honest.

Perushuonetta hieman isompi huoneemme oli loistava, erittäin hyvä sänky ja kunnollinen kylpyhuone. Aamiainen oli erinomainen. Ilmainen pysäköinti kadulla oven edessä. Sijainti hyvä lähellä keskustaa, mutta omassa rauhassa.

Btra läge och frukost, men de behöver viss förbättring.

Läget. Rent. Sköna sängar och en mycket välfylld och god frukost.

Cons:

Fruktansvärt varmt rum med enbart ett minimalt fönster som man kunde öppna. Och det fönstret var otroligt smutsigt.. när vi klagade på värmen och att det inte gick att ändra på termostaten då stängde de bara av den med kommentaren ” vi vet om att vi har det här problemet…”
Sänglampan har fortfarande samma placering som gör den i praktiken helt oanvändbar. Den måste flyttas högre upp! ( vilket jag tidigare kommenterat). Nu bodde vi i nya huset (rum 335) som har byggts upp väldigt snabbt. Det märks på kvaliteten. Hållaren för toalettrullen sitter t ex helt löst och kranen gör varmt/kallt vatten är felkopplade. Rött läge= kallt och blått= varmt😏

Benotung "Außergewöhnlich" knapp verfehlt. Auf alle Fälle eine gute Empfehlung.
Pros:

Eine Übernachtung vom 7./8. Juni 2026. Zimmer lag in einem restaurieten Gebäude. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kuschliges Zimmer und modernes Bad. Zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Flauschige Badetücher. Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen. Preis/Leistung im richtigen Rahmen. Benotung "Außergewöhnlich" leider wegen der geringen Zimmergröße knapp verfehlt.

Cons:

Zimmer war sehr klein; geringe Ablagemöglichkeit für zwei Koffer und Handgepäck.

Great for a short stay!
Pros:

I liked the shampoo/condition aspects and the aesthetics of my room. I used this room for a quick stop before heading to Husavik in the morning so it worked out well for me. Short walk to downtown Akureyri.

Cons:

The room was hot and dry. Can’t remember if I could open my window or not but I also can’t remember if I could open my window. I don’t think I could because at 2am, I wanted to check to see if the receptionist had a fan and they were closed. I was warm and it was in July 2026. Summer pj’s!
