Also zuallererst: das Personal ist mega höflich. Insbesondere der Herr am Empfang. Selten so höfliches Personal in einem Hotel gehabt (und ich war in einigen Hotels).

Nicht so schön war die Menge (nicht die Qualität denn die war Spitzenklasse und eher in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel zu erwarten) des Abendessens. War zwar sehr lecker aber man muss schon bei den Vorspeisen kräftig zuschlagen weil der Hauptgang ist echt traurig, denn die Portionen waren viel viel zu klein.

Dann fand ich mein Einzelzimmer für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel doch sehr einfach gehalten. Das Bad ist okay aber die Toilette ist einfach zu eng gebaut. Wenn man ne „Sitzung“ hat, stört das Waschbecken und der fest montierte Fön. Man hat einfach schlicht zu wenig Platz.

Preislich war es allerdings okay. Und die Anbindung zum Sessellift (den man ab drei Übernachtungen kostenlos unbegrenzt nutzen kann) war auch gut. Wenn das Wetter mitspielt hat man einen guten Ausblick über die Alpen.

Insgesamt würde ich der Anlage 3,5 Sterne geben. Und unterm Strich würde ich wieder hinfahren!

P.s. Die Sauna ist auch schön eingerichtet.

Niet zoals op de foto’s, hadden stroomstoring. ontbijt is wel goed, Personeel was vriendelijk., maar duurde allemaal wel erg lang.

I have just stayed a couple of days at the Berghotel Madlener. I came here for work and relaxation. Therefore it was perfect. The hiking in the mountains of Damüls was beautiful. So green, so calm - just beautiful.
The hotel itself was great. I had a big room for myself with a doublebed, canapé and television. And a balcony. And good internet for my work.

The breakfast and the dinner were delicious. Fresh fruits, differents cheeses, salmon, meat, eggs and nice austrian bread. And good coffee and fresh just, which you can make yourself with a juicer. Everything what makes me happy in the morning :-)

I loved the dinner. There was a nice salad, soup for starter, than you can choose between meat or a vegetarian main dishes. At least very nice homemade dessert completes a delicious dinner!

Also the spa with to different saunas and 2 infrarot cabins were perfect to calm down after a day of working and hiking.

At least everybody was very attentive and friendly. I really appreciated the days here at the Berghotel Madlener and can warmly recommend a stay at this place!

Alles in Ordnung, meines Erachtens aber nicht (mehr) 4 Sterne Standard

Es war sehr schön

We visited this hotel for two nights as a family with a small child (3 years old). The renovated rooms are spectacular and very charming. The wooden touch throughout the hotel and our room was so cozy and really had that Austrian flair. The room itself was way beyond our expectations and we were thrilled. The sofa pullout bed was new and comfy for our child. The regular beds were very good with comfortable duvets and pillows, the mattress was superb. The decorations throughout the room looked amazing and the lighting was also a great touch. The balcony was great for sitting in the sun and taking in the breathtaking views! Bathroom was wonderful with a separate toilet which actually comes in very handy. Highly recommend the renovated rooms, well worth it!

Parking is free and they have plenty of room!

Breakfast was from 8-10 and dinner from 6-8. The food was really fantastic and just the right amount. Even my picky toddler loved it and was super happy to try all the nice dishes. If you didn’t want something on the menu they were very accommodating. They assign each room their own table for both meals which is actually quite nice, we enjoyed that. I absolutely cannot complain about one single thing regarding the food. The service in the dining room worked very hard and you could tell they gave their best. They have high chairs for small children too.

The “uga lift” is within walking distance and gets you to the mountains for some hiking. Many different trails available and we had a wonderful hike. There is a nice restaurant at the top which is so cozy inside, and a fantastic playground outside.

We also drove to the Diedamskopf lift and spent the next day there. You can bring a stroller but it was a bit difficult going down the mountain. There is currently a very informative little museum at the top which costs 2 euro entrance but it is very nice for kids. The restaurant also looked good and there is a lovely terrace to sit at overlooking many mountain tops.

All in all this hotel was great value for the money and I would honestly recommend it in the summer or winter, I am sure the skiing is amazing. Thank you to the wonderful staff and owners for showing us such hospitality.

Die Zimmer sind ansprechend eingerichtet, mit sandgestrahltem alten Holz.
Es gibt morgens ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit Wurst, Schinken, diversen Käsesorten und süßem Aufstrich, Müsli. Auf Wunsch gibt es Rührei oder Spiegelei. Zur Auswahl standen auch noch mehrere Säfte.
Die Halbpension umfasst ein Salatbuffet mit mehr als 15 verschiedenen Sorten, Dressings und Salatölen. Es gibt jeden Tag ein Menü aus 3 Gängen und das Essen ist hervorragend.

Goed ontbijt met voldoende keuze. Diner met diverse gangen, hoofdgerecht keuze tussen vlees, vis of vega. Ligging op nog geen 5 minuten lopen van de UGA lift en het hotel heeft kluisjes voor het opbergen van skispullen bij de lift.

Kein Wellnessbereich ist sehr schade.
Die raumpflege lässt zu wünschen übrig

Der gesamte eindruck von außen, eher nicht sehr einladend, die Wiese hinter dem Hotel war sehr ungepflegt! Viel Müll lag da herum

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein riesiges Plus. Die Qualität des Essens war hervorragend.
Es wäre schön, Kaffee (Wasserkocher) auf dem Zimmer zu haben.

Personal knapp,im Zimmer kein Kühlschrank,Safe defekt,Personal nett,nach dem Skifahren wäre Suppe und Getränk ein üblicher Service,immerhin gibtes Blechkuchen,Getränke teuer

Gutes Hotel für einen Skiurlaub; in der Nähe von der Uga Station.
Tolle renovierte Zimmer, die jetzt sehr modern sind.
Super 5-Gänge Abendessen, das ist immer wieder ein Traum. Wir waren jetzt schon zum 3. Mal in Folge da.

Mit Ausnahme der Lage direkt an der Strasse (Lärm) und mit Blick auf diese war sonst alles bestens.
