The hotel grounds are very beautiful. However, the facilities are very outdated. The baby bed we received was very dangerous, our baby fell out and got stuck in the structure.

Great nostalgic place to stay - charming. Would have loved easier access to the property.

Decor is reminiscent of old world elegance with new world comfort. The staff is wonderful and helpful. They were courteous and kind. The Villa went beind expectations.

Old fashioned colonial atmosphere, but with exquisite service, super friendly staff and the necessary quite to rest out the Cairo's chaos.

This was one of our top hotel stays during our 6 week length tour of Egypt in Jan 2025, my 7th trip in the country. Maadi is a special niche place in Cairo and the hotel is both beautiful and well appointed. Food was excellent too. Very helpful staff throughout, from the men at the door, dealing with luggage and cars, to the reception. Will defiantly stay here again for it’s an oasis within Cairo!

Our room was lovely and spacious, with a veranda sitting area. Antique furniture, excellent air con, spotlessly clean and wonderful breakfasts. The staff are lovely. The hotel is in a very safe, leafy suburb, and due to a number of embassies located here there is a large police prescence

A delight and an escape from the noise of downtown Cairo. Wonderful staff and not beyond them to discreetly pop out to buy a bottle of wine. Fun suppers around the swimming pool.

The AC isn’t working effectively, I had to call them 3 times to get fixed.
The WiFi isn’t working.

I had to ask for my room as booked, they were trying to put us in ground floor with out any view !!!

The hotel locates in a very nice and posh neighborhood in Cairo, after experiencing all the hustles of the city, it’s a real relief for me and my friend to get to stay in the hotel and walk around in the area. The area is safe and with lots of nice cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is very well designed and maintained, the staffs are very helpful as well.

Lovely old hotel with lots of character in a nice part of Cairo (everything’s relative!). Very helpful staff, great food, nice service in a very comfortable room.

We came on honeymoon from the UK. It is like stepping back in time to a bygone age. Timeless elegance and beautiful food. A beautiful oasis of peacefulness in a bustling city. Only downside was the endless local instagrammers in the restaurant at night who were annoying and sometimes disruptive.

An oasis in Cairo - why would anyone want to stay anywhere else

Place in Maadi with warm atmosphere, outdoor cafe and restaurant, friendly staff and nice international menu. The bathrooms are sparkling clean. Uou feel like stepping back in time. I highly recommend it for a quiet gathering with a few friends.
