Good hotel but don’t book the basement
Pros:

Good location, easy to walk to bars and restaurants and around Amsterdam generally. Nice room, clean with very comfortable bed and good blackout curtains.

Cons:

Originally we were due to stay in a basement room, but when we entered the room there was a strong smell of sewage. However the staff kindly moved and upgraded us.

Das Zimmer war konfortabel und gross .... ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Tram) sehr gut erschlossen, ... zu Fuß etwa 30 min bis zum Redlight-District/Central-Train-Station usw.

Essensmöglichkeiten gibt es zu genüge und 2min entfernt ein Lidl zum einkaufen.

Die Fester sind nicht dicht, sodass es etwas Durchzug im Zimmer gab, aber nicht schlimm.
