A quaint hot springs resort with nice staff
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay, but I have to say it probably won't appeal to the vast majority of Western tourists. We really enjoyed the hot springs, the rooms are clean but basic. The whole hotel honestly is showing its age but still give our stay a five-star and it wasn't a problem for us. But if you are expecting Holiday inn or a Hilton it might be a bit of surprise. The location is quite remote which we enjoyed. We did find some heat waterfalls and some hiking within about a 15 to 20 minute drive but there's not much else around.

4月後半に1泊しました。　バス停「泓泉渡假村」下車、ここがレインボーリゾートです。
施設は古く周辺に娯楽はないが、静かで清潔であり快適にすごせました。　
温泉は部屋の浴室、屋外の温水プール、露天風呂で楽しめます。　屋外の入浴時間は8:00～12:00と15:00～22:00です。
屋外の温泉は水着着用で、万が一水着を忘れても売店がありますが、営業時間が17:00～ですのでお忘れなく(水泳帽はフロントで販売)。
部屋の洗面台は真水も出るが、温水側に栓をひねると温泉が出ます。部屋でお茶等入れる際は各階にある給湯器を使うといいでしょう。
日本語は通じませんが漢字筆談と英語で要望を理解してもらえました。

溫泉純正可煮蛋和玉米，有大庭院杉木環繞的溫泉飯店
Pros:

溫泉純原湯，這是最吸引人的地方，當年中油公司最早的探勘知本溫泉一號井就在此處
房內和戶外泳池spa（早上8：00~晚上10：00）都有泡，很舒服，大推。室內好像有部分更新過裝璜，有比四年前來時新，早餐簡單但基本的中西式都有，我們有吃稀飯、肉鬆醬菜，也有烤土司小圓麵包。現場也有提供沙拉吧水果和豆漿玉米片，幾樣炒時蔬，除隔音稍差其他都有一定水準

A nostalgia hotel with wonderful hot spring area
Pros:

It's an older hotel but the room is clean and we can soak in hot spring inside the room. The open hot spring area is really nice but unfortunately we didn't bring our swimming suits. The breakfast is healthy with many dishes. I love this hotel.

周辺の宿の露天風呂が軒並み利用停止中の中、こちらは広々とした露天風呂を堪能出来ました。部屋の風呂も温泉で、「温泉煮」というアトラクション？も良い。スタッフは非常にフレンドリーで、朝食は充実。トータルでとても素晴らしかった。

Nice staff but small room with thin walls
Pros:

We stayed in the "standard room." It had thin walls separating it from a walkway/balcony to all other rooms.
We heard people walking and talking and elevator noises all right next to our bed in the room.
