1. We stayed in this property twice in our trip (because we went to visit another attraction in the middle of our trip). We had to change to another room during our second stay. But this room offered a much better view than the first room.
2. Flexible payment. Since we were international travellers and did not have a Taiwan bank account, we paid for the property in cash once we arrived.
3. We had to leave some luggage in the property, because we left the property for one night when we visited another attraction. The property helped keep our stuff, so we did not need to carry it with us. (We were instructed to leave our stuff on the couch inside the lobby/faced the reception desk, with a camera there.)
4. The property offered indoor slippers, which could tell the management was trying to keep the indoor area clean. We bought our own slippers, but we appreciated the management's effort.
5. Very close to Liu He night market, which offered many different types of food.
6. One block away from the new Kaohsiung train station, walking distance from the hotel was about 10 minutes.
1. The first room we stayed in had concealed big windows and one openable window, but these windows faced/opened to a balcony which was equipped with several outdoor units/wires of air conditioners. These outdoor units also created lots of noise, especially if the window was opened.
2. During our second stay, we had to change to another room because the first room's AC had an issue.
3. Some grout joints of the washroom tiles had mould.
4. The room had two steps around the entrance/washroom area, so travellers had to get used to the steps in order not to cause safety hazards.
5. The sink plug/drainage stopper in the sink was very challenging to pull out during our second stay. The staff had to find some tools to get it out.
It is just a walking distance from formosa blvd station exit no. 10. It is a walking distance from liuhe night market. Just below the building there are 711 and lots of food establishments as well as atm. The hotel is on the 10f of the building, they offering free coffee, tea and snacks.
The location is nice, the place is great but the.staff is not fluent enough in english but its okay she will ask you to translate it in chinese. But overall it is a great stay.
