Schönes Hotel in perfekter Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Wir hatten das Spa-Angebot hinzu gebucht und haben nach einem langen Tag durch die Straßen von Reykjavik abends in einem der Pools und der Sauna entspannt. Das Frühstück war super, das Personal war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben morgens um 3 Uhr sogar noch Croissants und Kaffee angeboten bekommen, als wir zum Flughafen aufgebrochen sind. Insgesamt sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Good, will stay again if I come back to Iceland.
Pros:

Breakfast included, free room upgrade to use the spa facilities (which I highly recommend to use, the sauna, indoor and outdoor pool were really good) and dinner is also paid for (just have to let the staff know that you need to be given dinner voucher during your stay which includes half board - 1 starter plus 1 main or 1 main plus 1 dessert, non-alcoholic drinks not included). The room was really clean as well. Service staff in restaurant is friendly. Breakfast is alright. Bus stop #13 is located just outside the hotel so easy to plan pick-up and drop-off if you are going on tours around Iceland. Bus stop #12 is about 5-min walk from hotel as well. There are also a lot of food establishments near the hotel, and it's also about 10-min walk from city center.

Cons:

At the day of check-in, one of the staff still needed me to pay for dinner with hotel guests having 15% discount even though I have explained to her that my stay includes dinner as well so I should not be charged extra for it, luckily another staff came over to help and told me that I can get a dinner voucher which needs to be requested at the reception desk every day. Just take note that the food and drink varieties not a lot. I stayed for 11 nights and ate almost the same food every other day, and the food is not fantastic.

Good location, cozy hotel!
Pros:

Location is great, right next to bus stop 13, close to food market and some local shops. It’s 5min walk to ‘touristy’ street and it’s quiet enough at night. It’s also short walk to seaside.
Breakfast was great but busy at times , rooms were a bit small with little storage space. One thing we didn’t like were the glass door to bathroom that offer 0 privacy.
Sauna and hot tub downstairs were amazing and are definitely a highlight of the hotel.

Very little storage space in the room; glass door to bathroom - no privacy

Interesting city to visit. Very different to expected.

Very good quality food for breakfast.
Half board was excellent value with very good evening meals.
Easy to get to from the main bus station- about a 20 minute walk.

Really enjoyed it.
Pros:

Excellent location, staff very helpful and friendly, room clean and nice to have use of spa facilities. Breakfast had a good variety of food.

Cons:

Bathroom door did not give you any privacy due to a being glass and having a gap at the bottom. Not pleasant when needing privacy sharing.
