Location was fab! Lovely clean hotel and staff were really polite.. would certainly return
15% off should include breakfast as well
Verder is alles super!
Great location, especially for bus tours and public transport. The bedding was very comfortable and the room came with everything you would need for a few days in Iceland. The spa was very relaxing, modern and clean and having the ability to order drinks from the bar to the indoor and outdoor pool was a cool touch.
Nothing we didn’t like
Clean, well kept, good location, beautiful view, friendly staff
Quality of bedding
Tolles Zimmer mit Blick über die Stadt
Fällt mir nichts ein
ארוחת בוקר נהדרת, מגוונת ועשירה. יחס צוות נפלא .אוירה נפלאה.
Very pleased with this hotel and its central location. Bus stop 13 adjoins the hotel and bus stop 9 a block away and the main road for shops, bars, restaurants, historic buildings and other sights, leading to the harbour area. The room was fine on a breakfast package which was ideal to start the day. Thank you to the reception staff who helped us during our stay, Sylvia, Sylvia and Veronika. Veronika helped book our very enjoyable day tours, boat trip and spa trip to the newly opened Laugaras lagoon spa. Thanks again.
Great location, friendly staff and helpful with any questions. Room was nice.
Great access to local restaurants and sights
Great personal, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The spa and gym was also great.
Family of three staying for five nights. Great hotel with a great team first of all.
Never been before so always a worry if you have chosen a good hotel.
We were not disappointed, location is good, just at the end of the man high street. Quiet even with work going on directly next to the hotel. Busy hotel so always something happening. Good value for money considering the prices in Iceland.
Restaurant had plenty of chose, we stayed in room 321 and it had everything you needed and a very good sofabed for my 19yr old son who is 6’2”.
Spa is great and was included in our stay.
We went on many trips which we organised ourselves, pick ups mainly from the BSI bus terminal which was a 30minute walk or a taxi for around 2500krn. Definitely recommend the south coast day trip - so much to see!!
Things to improve perhaps, lighting in the restaurant is quite dark at times, longer happy hour time, more attractive guest prices for massages etc.
The hotel is in the old centre of Reykjavik with a range of shops, bars and restaurants literally minutes from the door. The hotel has a clean modern look, with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff are very friendly and helpful, if I’m ever back in Iceland I would be happy to stay here again.
Nice clean hotel with Spa. Good location next to the main pedestrian street. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of hot and cold food. Bustling hotel with love music one of the nights we were there. Rooms good and bed comfortable. Found the staff to be all very friendly.
hotel bien situé
chambres très petites, pas pratiques, trop chaudes, petit déjeuner très moyen
Good place to stay. Spa is nice to relax after a long day. Gym is basic, could be better equipped but works for a view days. Breakfast is good, coffee could be better including cappuccino etc.
I had a great time in Iceland and my stay at the hotel definitely contributed. The staff were attentive. The room was nice and Location is good. It’s not too far from the town centre.
The hotel has a great location: just outside the noisy part of town but close enough to walk to many interesting places, from RVK Brewing in the east to the marina in the west, with Bus Stop 13 immediately outside the building and Bus Stop 11 just a few blocks away (perfect for your Blue Lagoon transfer). The rooms are quiet and comfortable--small, but well-appointed and with a nice, large window (and black-out curtains). The sink is outside the toilet and shower area, so two people can easily get ready simultaneously. The fantastic spa includes outdoor and indoor hot tubs and a sauna, plus locker rooms with open showers, lovely rosemary shampoo/body wash, robes, and hairdryers. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and approachable. We also enjoyed the restaurant, with its big windows and low mood-lighting; the breakfast buffet was the best we had in Iceland, and we enjoyed the lamb burgers for dinner once during our stay. There were only a few small weaknesses: (1) the door to the bathroom is frosted glass with a small gap between the door and the doorframe, so people in the room can hear everything in the bathroom; and (2) there's really not a good spot to hang wet swimsuits in the room. But really, these are only small drawbacks; I loved this hotel, and I honestly can't wait to return!
