Lovely stay!
Pros:

Hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard
Rooms are decorated tastefully & the shower is amazing! Food in the restaurant at dinner was lovely and breakfast was first class! We have stayed in other McKeever hotels and they all have this high standard.

Love the large reception where you can order a drink, or tea / coffee, and watch the world go bye.
Staff were friendly, professional and courteous, however it seemed the restaurant was a little understaffed, and service a little slow.
Other than that the hotel is spotlessly clean, our room was adequate for a one night stay, dinner was good and breakfast was excellent with a good choice to suit everyone.
I've been here before and no doubt I'll stay again.

Great place to spend a few days away
Pros:

Rooms were a good size, beds were very comfortable and easy to get in and out of, tea and coffee facilities were very much appreciated the reception staff went out of their way to reallocate another room for my mum who was unable to manage the stairs to her original room. The breakfast was great as was dinning in the restaurant in the evening, drinks in the bar were also very reasonable .

Cons:

My sister had the disability room but it was carpeted and hard for her to manoeuvre her wheelchair, the wet room was fine except the toilet was to low, and some of the doors in and out of the hotel are not automatic so have to be held open to allow wheelchair access.

A real gem and perfect for a north coast stop.
Pros:

This was our second stay here. This time with our 18 month old son. The second time was even better than the first. It’s a very comfortable and clean hotel. The food is also great. The staff are fantastic. The reception staff are so welcoming and friendly. Keith in particular was great. He couldn’t do enough for us and made the stay all the more enjoyable. We’ve stayed in many hotels and accommodations around the world and the staff here are some of the best.
