Short stay in a well situated hotel on the promenade.
Pros:

The reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming as was the chambermaid. The restaurant/bar staff were polite and did their jobs well.
The decor was tasteful and the outside seating area was very pleasant. The hotel was right on the promenade so was next to the beach and it was easy to get to the town centre and the harbour.

Cons:

The restaurant was very understaffed on the night we chose to eat there so we had to wait a long time to get served.. Also there was only one dish that my vegetarian friend was able to choose.
The room we were allocated was very small and had no balcony. There was nowhere to put the cases. We tried to slide them under the bed but the beds were too low.
The beside "shelves' were hardly big enough to house a phone, glasses and meds. The wardrobe was extremely small! If a man wanted to hang a suit and trousers and, if they were staying for more than a couple nights, it would be far too small.

We have stayed in many places, but this was by far the worst experience of recent years, largely due to the incompetence of the reception staff. In short, I do not recommend this hotel, there are much better options in the area for the same price. Unfortunately, we didn't take the negative reviews seriously, and I hope others don't make the same mistake. They caused a lot of hassle even before the trip, communicating via Booking.com was nearly impossible, as they would either not answer the question or ignore it completely. They charged a deposit without warning, and despite multiple requests, we received no notification about it. We only got the €1,100 deposit back three weeks after the holiday ended, even though they had promised to refund it the day after check-out. We cancelled the dinner service before the trip, but it took several attempts for them to send the corrected invoice properly, this caused significant inconvenience at check-in as well. When I asked the receptionist why they weren't replying on Booking.com, her response—instead of an apology—was simply that messages don't always go through... Extremely unprofessional. The rooms in the main building are fine, but the rooms in the other building barely merit three stars. The terrace of one room overlooked an inner courtyard filled with construction debris. The key cards for the rear building often didn't work. Breakfast was decent, but the menu didn't change at all over five days, making it quite monotonous. Overall, we experienced a great deal of unpleasantness, it is not at all worthy of a 4-star hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Posizione ottima avvalorata dalla presenza del parcheggio (da prenotare). Ottima la pulizia degli spazi comuni, piacevoli anche se un po’ angusti. Buona colazione, cene ottime anche se uscita dei piatti piuttosto lenta. Materie prime di qualità e ricette ricercate. Nota d’onore ad Anais per la sua gentilezza, precisione e sorriso!

Cons:

Nonostante la segnalazione fatta il minibar non ha funzionato per tutto il soggiorno (ci è stato detto di inserire la chiave, cosa che abbiamo fatto ma senza risultato). Riferito al check out ma non è stato detto niente per sopperire alla mancanza. Peccato, mi aspettavo un gesto o una parola, ha fatto molto caldo e non avere mai acqua fresca è stato un problema.
