Posizione comoda, ma soggiorno con diversi aspetti migliorabili
Pros:

Prima di tutto la posizione è abbastanza centrale e molto comoda, con la fermata del bus numero 22 proprio sotto casa. Ho apprezzato anche la presenza degli armadietti gratuiti e capienti dove lasciare i bagagli. L’appartamento in sé è piccolo, ma modernizzato e nel complesso ben organizzato. La cucina è arredata bene e abbastanza funzionale; forse sarebbe utile aggiungere qualche posata in più, perché ce n’erano soltanto due per tipo.

Cons:

Purtroppo all’arrivo abbiamo trovato il letto sporco e i cuscini macchiati. Inoltre la televisione inizialmente non funzionava: lo abbiamo segnalato allo staff e, dopo due giorni, ci è stato proposto di cambiare camera. Abbiamo accettato e nella nuova stanza la televisione funzionava, ma è possibile vedere solo i programmi in olandese perché non si può cambiare la lingua. Inoltre non si tratta di una smart TV, quindi non sono disponibili piattaforme come Netflix o simili. Ho chiesto allo staff se fosse possibile cambiare lingua o trovare una soluzione, ma dopo due giorni mi è stato risposto che non potevano fare nulla. Per questo motivo consiglio eventualmente di portare un cavo HDMI per collegare il telefono o altri dispositivi.
Un’altra difficoltà riguarda le finestre: sono grandi finestre sul soffitto, piuttosto scomode da aprire e impossibili da oscurare completamente durante la notte. Di conseguenza al mattino presto entra molta luce e diventa difficile continuare a dormire. Infine, la doccia non ha una chiusura adeguata, quindi dopo averla usata il bagno tende ad allagarsi.

Pros:

Great location with museums and the centre of town in walking distance plus a bus stop at the door, there’s a decent supermarket down the street if you’re self catering. The apartment has lots of space with s decent sized living area and kitchen with full sized cooktop and 3/4 sized fridge with plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. Lots of cupboard space, a small dining table and 2 lounge chairs. Good blockout curtains, good shower pressure and lots of towels. The double loft bed was fine and I really appreciated the free laundry facilities though make sure you have your own supply of washing powder, which I did. The automated pin system for the front and room door works well, I did have a problem getting into our room but a quick text to WhatsApp sorted that out. The customer service via WhatsApp works really well, we had a problem with the tv not working in our room and after troubleshooting via text we were able to swap to another room with a working (and better) TV. After moving rooms I realized I’d left my small bag containing our passports in the first room and once again customer service came to the rescue and gave me access so I could retrieve my bag after 5 minutes of feeling sick to my stomach!

Cons:

A few very minor issues. We were in a ground floor room facing the street and learnt very quickly to have the windows closed at night because there was a lot of street noise. The windows are double glazed so shutting them made a huge difference. When you use the shower the water runs out onto the floor, this seems to be pretty common feedback, but it dries pretty quickly so not really a deal breaker. The full length windows are fantastic but unfortunately someone on the street had thrown some kind of liquid on them which kind of spoiled the view so they could do with a good clean.

Good stay in Amsterdam
Pros:

The apartment was nice, had good facilities and was comfortable. There is a bus stop outside (bus 22) that takes you into the main areas however, this can make it noisy at night. Lockers are available for your luggage which we used and was very handy. Good value for money and I would stay here again.

Cons:

We were on the top floor and one of our blinds didn’t work so it was very bright at night. It can also be noisy as emergency services are located around the corner and can hear sirens all night long, can also hear people talking outside. Also lift was broken our whole stay and made it difficult bringing our bags up and down the stairs

Un séjour très agréable dans une belle ville où il fait bon vivre

Bien équipé, spacieux et confortable

Cons:

Il manquait un drap et le support n’a pas réussi à m’en fournir un de rechange malgré de nombreuses tentatives.

Pros:

All good but the fire alarm was on for 2+hours on the first day and also ringed again on the last day. Of course it's safety issue and it makes sense but it should close faster

Cons:

The check in through the app was a lot. Sending documents and details for the people that should stay
