Luxurious stay in beautiful Beijing!
Pros:

Hotel was beautiful and staff was wonderful and helpful. The younger guys helped me navigate the Chinese apps and order takeout. The refrigerator in the room did not cool anything but they were very accommodating and gave me fresh ice regularly and stored my medicine. The rooms were cleaned daily and the fresh orchid in the room was a wonderful touch. Also, they stocked us regularly with water options (THANK YOU). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were BEAUTIFUL (marble herringbone). I felt the hotel really made my stay in Beijing feel super luxurious. The hotel also had daily newspapers in Chinese & English which was a fun way to see what was going in China & also a fun keepsake.

Cons:

The rooms were very moody but in the evening, there were times I wanted to turn on a light to see something. The hallways were quite dimly lit, which was fine but trying to find my hotel key in the dark elevators was challenging. (a little too dark in there) I also really needed the refrigerator in the room. It was inconvenient to have to get up every morning, get dressed & and go downstairs for a cup of ice ( although they always gave one to me w a smile) and cold coffee.

Exotic oasis in the middle of Beijing
Pros:

The property is beautiful and it was the perfect place to retire throughout the day as we were exploring Beijing. The herringbone marble elevators were EPIC. Also, the bathrooms were beautifully done.

Cons:

The refrigerator in our room did NOT cool any of our food or ice. This was very annoying as we had to get up every morning and go out to order an iced coffee and we were unable to save any leftover food. I’ve was melting in a matter of hours.

Pros:

Facilities and room great.
Breakfast with lots of options.
We used the pool and the warm water pool. All clean and convenient and confortable.
Lots of good options for eating out at walking distance from the hotel, also two parks.
In the afternoon live traditional Chinese music in the lobby!

Cons:

Depending on traffic conditions it can take up to 45' to get to Forbidden City by taxi.
The concierge organized a taxi for us to visit Great Wall. The ride itself was good and reasonably priced. The only issue was that the driver suggested us to visit a tea shop, that later turned out to be a 'tourist trap' with overpriced tea.

Pros:

. We loved the beautiful lobby. The view from both the bedroom and the bathtub was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly. We will definitely stay there again.
