Sleep Inn & Suites Columbus near Fort Benning

The room itself was clean, but the top dresser drawer had hair in it, the microwave was nasty, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, no liner in the ice bucket and no cups. The refrigerator smelled bad and had not been wiped out. When my daughter went downstairs to get ice and cups, the desk clerk was on her personal phone and sent my daughter to the kitchen to get ice and cups.

The hotel breakfast and pool were horrible, not clean and not attentive.

Well let just say that the staff was very rude. Turns out that I leave to my sons Graduation at Fort Benning around 7:30 a.m. we decide to just put our bags already in the truck but my husband stays in the room around 10:20 a cleaning lady goes in and starts cleaning and mind you my husband is in the bathroom this lady opens the door to the bathroom proceeds to tell my husband "you aren't supposed to je here anymore" Hello it was just 10:20 we paid till 11 in no time did I go or call the front desk to let them know we were checking out!!!!... so I got there around 10:25 I get a call to the room asking me what am I still doing there so I did cuss and said because I can it ain't 11 yet so she was like ya'll had left I proceed to let her know I LEFT MAMM BUT MY HUSBAND STAYED!!! She argued and said I am going up I was just gonna change into something comfortable due to that we had a long way back home. So as we were exiting the room here she comes so I yelled to her saying it was rude of them to just go in the room like that and walk in on my husband so she was like you had left I said I DID BUT MY HUSBAND STAYED!!! and we paid 50 dollars extra for that 1 hr we had got there early. So of course I was fixing to stay till 11 if possible but we left at 10:30. So RUDE not because one person leaves and they decide to pack everything up so we CAN LEAVE AT A DECENT TIME means we left in no point in time did I let them know I we were leaving the facilities!! And there was roaches as well

No breakfast and the pool was down. The guy was rude to someone in my group.

Our rooms bathroom faucet was running the whole time we were there. The coffee pots downstairs were out of order the day after we got there. The lounging by the pool was all broken and torn and out tv did not work.

The hotel service and the poor cleanliness. They limited our supply of towels.

Curtains had mold, room smelled moldy, bathtub was dirty, headboard had handprints all over it, pool was closed, coffee pot didn’t work, breakfast was nasty.

Had paid for 2 queen rooms had the second person get checked into one room cause they got there before I could so they did 1 room to start. Then when one of them wanted to check into the other room they gave them the key, they get into the room it's dirty beds not made trash still in the room. So they go tell the front desk she says the people didn't check out and they already sent housekeeping home for the day so no one can clean it! Said if we wanted to go somewhere else I would get refunded or she could put me in a King suite with 1 King bed and a pull out couch and then they would figure out the difference and I would get refunded whatever the difference would be. Said that was fine we were going to do that then I get a call from a person in my party that said never mind they just moved someone to a different room and gave me what I had originally booked. My guess is you didn't want to pay for a refund. I already paid everything was paid in full not understanding how you are going to tell someone that! Or send your housekeeping home because no one checked out?! Like there's no way you didn't know that prior to my party arriving! Then I hear you tried to do the same thing to another guest during my stay! Like stop double booking the rooms or whatever you are doing! You need a better system because that is ridiculous! I'm glad they arrived before I did because I would have been pissed! I will never stay in a Sleep Inn if that's how you guys do things! I've never stayed in a place that's done that before just crazy to me.

Room wasn't the cleanest. There was a dead spider in the shower that was clearly visible and had been dead a while. The ice bucket had been used as a hair trim catcher and was not usable. It smelled clean, but wasn't completely clean.

The breakfast was minimal. The sausage was scary and the eggs were too very watery and too much pepper. you could have dry cereals and milk and some fruit like apples or bananas.
