Pros:

Perfectly positioned on the sea front, a stones throw from the beach, and close to all the Tavernas and Bars. The hotel itself was clean, and the room quite spacious with a nice wrap around balcony. Really enjoyed our short stay, and would definitely stay here again to be close to the airport.

Cons:

No coffee making in the room, and breakfast could've been served a bit earlier - we didn't have time for it before our flight.

Thank you to the entire hotel team for the wonderful stay!
The location is fantastic – right on the square and within a very short walking distance of everything: the beach, cafés, restaurants, and shops. It’s extremely convenient.
We really liked the room – it was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The bathroom had very strong water pressure, which was perfect after a day at the beach. The toiletries provided were also excellent.
We especially loved the terrace – you step straight out onto the square, and just a few steps across it take you to the beach. It couldn’t be more convenient!
The hotel and staff are very pet-friendly. We were welcomed perfectly together with our dog Greity (50 kg), for which we are very grateful.
There is a bar and breakfast available at the hotel – everything was excellent: drinks were well chilled and the food was fresh and delicious.
The location is both lively and peaceful at the same time, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The beach next to the hotel is very nice and well kept. There is also convenient parking available.
We are extremely satisfied and grateful! Warm greetings to the entire staff from us and our dog Greity!

After spending the last 12 consecutive summers vacationing in Greece and having had excellent experiences almost everywhere, this was the first time I felt truly disappointed.
Apart from the location, Hotel Pithari offered very little that met my expectations. The rooms were extremely small — in fact, this was the first time in all my years of travelling in Greece that I stayed in a room so small that even the sink was placed inside the bedroom itself. The furnishings and amenities were very basic and of rather low quality.
The staff was relatively cold and lacked the warmth and hospitality that Greece is usually famous for. Service felt passive rather than proactive and did not reflect the standard I have experienced elsewhere in the country.
The breakfast was particularly disappointing. There were very limited choices, with only a few basic options available. The quality was poor and portions were minimal. Instead of traditional Greek products, the cheese served was industrial Gouda of very low quality, the ham portion was extremely small, and the yogurt lacked flavor and was accompanied by only a couple of pieces of fruit.
What surprised me the most was being told that there was no feta cheese available when I simply asked for two eggs and some feta cheese for breakfast. Being in Greece and hearing that a hotel does not have feta cheese available was something I had never experienced before in all my years of visiting the country.
Considering the price, it would have been possible to stay in a good three-star hotel in the center of Thessaloniki offering a significantly better overall experience.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. In my opinion, the value for money is poor, and future guests should carefully consider other options before booking.
