Best Western Sunridge Inn & Conference Center

I truly can’t say enough good things about Sunridge Inn and Conference Center. Every single time I visit, I’m blown away—not just by the amazing food (which is absolutely authentic, flavorful, and consistently incredible), but by the entire experience from start to finish.
The atmosphere of the whole property is just wonderful. The grounds are beautiful, the spaces are welcoming, and everything feels thoughtfully cared for. Whether you’re dining, visiting, or staying, there’s a sense of comfort and ease that makes you want to linger a little longer.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the people. The owner and staff go above and beyond to take care of you, and they do it in such a warm, friendly way that feels more like being welcomed by family than just being a guest. It genuinely feels like a place where people care.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right—food, atmosphere, and service—but this is one of them. I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself. A heartfelt thank you to the owner and the entire team—you are truly amazing and so appreciated. 💛

We stayed here spontaneously on the way to Sun Valley. It was very clean, the rooms were well-maintained and updated, and the front desk and breakfast personnel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included freshly-made omlettes that were delicious--packed with veggies. Would stay here again!

The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The beds are comfortable everything is clean and works well. Staff is friendly and responsive.

Easy access from highway, friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet room, comfortable beds, great pillows, ample bathroom and shower, and a plentiful breakfast with loads of fresh choices. We'll definitely add this place to our list and highly recommend it.

Clean, good amenities, all appliances in room were in working order ( coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave ) safe, comfortable bed .

While the room itself was clean, the buildings were old, depressing, and poorly maintained. Guests who were either drunk, lost, or immature high schoolers banged on my door half the night. Finally, I was charged extra for a first floor room because I’m physically unable to navigate the stairs. I won’t stay here again.

This is difficult. This hotel, The Best Western Sunridge Inn in Baker City has a great location and we drive through town about every six months. It's honestly not a great hotel, though. We travel with our service dog and they put us out in the north forty in a sterile room. The beds were comfy and the customer service was great! However, the room feels like a poor house. It isn't pleasant, the lighting is blue LED and gives me a migraine, the room was also sterilized with bleach, and between that costic smell and the smell of paint (which I swear they were painting six months ago too) it made our throats burn. It is run down and, despite the new carpet and constant painting, this hotel needs some serious upgrades. In fact, Baker City as a whole needs a new hotel option for travelers. There is a restaurant on the property and it did have a pretty good pork chop and a cook in the back that swears a LOT! Who knew your pork chop came with entertainment! In all fairness the hotel staff did move our room to an "upgraded room" in a different building that smelled better but still rundown. If they tell you that you have to be in the back building with a dog, that's not entirely true. They moved us by the pool.
