Armon Residence

No AC in a room. It necessary when 35 degrees are outside.

I booked for x2 & checked in but only x1 set of towels for x1 person was provided. Also I didn't like the fact if you book via booking.com, x2 sets of pending transactions show both for Armon & Spatz...very confusing as if one is going to pay twice for x1 booking

Z łazienki wydobywa się brzydki zapach kanalizacji. Są żelazka na korytarzu, ale mają wypalone dziury w kablu i bałam się używać ich. Można byłoby zadbać bardziej o standard i zmienić wystrój, a szczególnie kanapę w saloniku.

בעיה עם גובה האסלה, גבוהה מדי ובישיבה עליה הרגליים לא מגיעות לרצפה, לא נעים. ריח ביוב לא נעים בחדר המקלחת.
שמירת חפצים וצ׳ק אין מתבצע במקום אחר במרחק של כ-600 מטר.

I was disappointed with my stay at Armon Residence.

The bed was comfortable, but it was only a three-quarter size, which felt quite small for two people.

My biggest disappointment was the refrigerator. It barely cooled anything. I bought some ham for breakfast, but unfortunately it spoiled because the fridge simply wasn't working properly.

There was an iron available, but there was no compatible power adapter/socket to use it, making it completely useless.

On the ground floor there is a café serving breakfast, but every morning it was very noisy. The constant sound of chairs being dragged across the floor made it difficult to rest.

Another inconvenience was that, even if you choose the breakfast option, it is not served in the residence itself. You have to walk about 15 minutes to another hotel where breakfast is provided, which was unexpected and inconvenient.

The location is also not ideal. It is around a 25-minute walk to the city centre and about 40 minutes on foot to the main train station.

Overall, while there were a few positive aspects, these issues significantly affected my stay, and I expected much better.

The bathroom smelt of pringles initially but tbh it's good value and I like pringles

No 'welcome' as no reception staff, but easy access with the key system.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and unfortunately experienced several issues during my stay.

When I arrived late at night and collected my room key from the lockbox, I noticed there was no electricity card in the room. The next morning, support informed me that I could activate the electricity by inserting any card into the slot, even one of their business cards. While this solved the problem, it was not something I would have expected to figure out on my own after a late-night arrival.

Housekeeping was also disappointing. The room was not cleaned properly, and it seemed that the floors were never cleaned during my stay.

The TV system was difficult to use, and it took quite some time to understand how to access any content. On top of that, the TV frequently disconnected from the Wi-Fi, making it even more frustrating.

The hotel description mentioned soundproofing, but this was definitely not my experience. Every night was very noisy, with loud sounds coming from neighboring rooms. Additionally, there is construction work taking place right next to the hotel, which created constant noise throughout my stay.

The most concerning issue was hygiene and the surrounding environment. During the day, when returning to the hotel after a walk, I saw a mouse near the entrance that ran into the basement area. Later that evening, I also spotted a rat in the courtyard garden.

The room itself was not bad, but unfortunately almost everything else worked against having a comfortable stay. Because of these issues, my overall experience was disappointing.
