Superlocatie en het zwembad
Echt overal zit je dichtbij. En wij zaten in een warme periode er, dus dan is de afkoeling van het zwembad superfijn!

Cons:

De trein die toetert bij elke passage langs het appartement . Vooral ‘‘s morgens om 6.00 uur stoort dat soms.

Eigenaar zet jong gezin zonder pardon op straat.

Het appartement was mooi en schoon. Fijne locatie.

Cons:

Er is niet gewaarschuwd voor de gevaarlijke houten vlonder vol met splinters bij het zwembad. Na een middagje zwemmen hadden onze jonge kinderen meer dan 60 (!!!) splinters in voetjes en handjes. Volgens de eigenaresse was dit een bekend probleem, maar er wordt dus verder niets aan gedaan. Mevrouw dacht nog wel mee over de verzorging van de voetjes en handjes van onze kinderen. Toen we de eigenaar hierop aanspraken, luisterde hij totaal niet naar ons en viel uit dat het onze eigen schuld was, de schuld van onze kinderen! Door deze geheel onterechte reactie en aanval naar onze kindjes toe, liepen de gemoederen verbaal hoog op. Een paar uur later werden we opgebeld met de mededeling dat we twee uur de tijd hadden om onze spullen in te pakken en te vertrekken. Deze meneer zet een jong gezin gewoon op straat. Tijdens het inpakken ging hij gewoon door met uitvallen naar ons, bleef maar zeggen dat het de schuld van onze kindjes was. Ook toen we zeiden dat hij rustig moest doen en dat we weg zouden gaan, bleef hij maar door tieren. Een vreselijke man is het. Ook het speeltuintje naast het zwembad is compleet vervallen. Ga niet naar deze accommodatie met kinderen!!

Pros:

We stayed here for a week in September, the only concern is had beforehand was it's closeness to the train station, but this was not a problem at all and it was nice to see the little red train go by. Lovely apartment, spacious, nice views. The hosts responded immediately to any questions/requests we had x Nice little bakery opposite and walking distance to everything we needed, cable cars, shops and restaurants x

We had a wonderful few days and loved the space and tranquility of the appartment.
Pros:

Amazing space, lovely and light in fabulous grounds. It was all so clean, welcoming and comfortable. We loved the pool, gym, table tennis and garden and amazing mountain views . It was really peaceful and relaxing and the owners were lovely and very helpful.

Cons:

Nothing - it exceeded our expectations!

Friendly, relaxed, great accommodation and location.
Pros:

We felt extremely welcomed. The family were helpful and gave us lots of information on arrival. The accommodation was spacious and exceptionally clean and well-equipped. We also enjoyed the swimming pond and the proximity to Mayrhofen town being only a few minutes walk away. Check in and check out was easy.

Great place to explore Zillertal and surroundings
Pros:

Great location, bakery is just across the street for your breakfast. Steam train passing by around 12.16h gives it something extra. Staff/owners very nice and helpful. Room size is great

Excellent Mayrhofen location with the best staff.
Pros:

We loved our stay at the apartment at Gästehaus Rosenhof. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable and worked well as a base for a family of 4.
As we were travelling by train, the location couldn't be better, being just 2 minutes from the station. The centre of Mayrhofen is only a little further away.
Only minor issue was that Hotels.com advertised free breakfast as being available when booking the apartment, but this is not the case. It is only when you book one of the standard rooms, but I believe this is not the fault of the hotel.
Mayrhofen is a great base to explore from and when we return, which we will, we will be looking to stay at Gästehaus Rosenhof again.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff
Pros:

A great hotel in a good location for the train station and hence buses up to the ski lifts. The apartment was very clean and was perfect for us. Katarina and Maria were fantastic also.

Great guesthouse and location
Pros:

Lovely place to stay. Had an apartment for 4 people. Really clean on arrival and was equipped with everything we needed. Great location, on the edge of town so quiet but you can walk I rob the centre in under 5 minutes. Also the ski bus stops just up the road and takes you straight to the lift. Had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend. Thank you!
