Great location. Lovely clean and spacious room. Friendly staff and good food. Would recommend to others and stay again.
We stayed in the Inishowen Gateway in early August for the first time. The reception was very nice open welcoming space. Th staff were extremely helpful and friendly and it was all very efficient.
The room was clean and comfortable overlooking Buncranagh golf Course and the sea, lovely views and very quiet and peaceful.
The leisure centre was excellent and much bigger than I expected.
We chose to eat in the bar and on reflection the dining room would have been much better. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly, but it was a bit chaotic. The kitchen seemed a distance away and staff arrived the bar with trays of food and seemed to have no idea who it was for. They went from table to table asking what people ordered.
We ordered the turkey and ham which was just ok. It was served with roast potatoes, but it seemed the potatoes were only in the oven for 30 seconds, greasy and not crispy at all, just white greasy potatoes. not good for a professional kitchen.
Despite plenty of staff it was difficult to get their attention, I asked for our bill 3 times and eventually went up to the bar to get it.
Breakfast was served in the dining room and it was excellent.
Overall, it is a nice hotel and staff are super friendly and good facilities. I would go back.

Main bar was not open and a bar down the corridor at the front of the hotel was in use. Therefore there were no views
Lovely hotel, very comfortable and family room was just that! Fit for a family. Roomy, comfortable and clean. Perfect!
Never had been there before so was unsure of the restaurants and where to go, asked to book in for dinner but nobody explained at reception that there were 2 options. Bar grub or fancy restaurant. We got fany restaurant but would've liked more casual dining.

My wife is slightly incapacitated, reception had originally booked us into a first floor room, upon seeing my wife he changed it to a ground floor room with appropiate fittings. We had not asked for the change.
The rooms were clean and the bathroom was on the basic side but functional.

We had booked a sea view and walk in shower,got a bonus with the air conditioning,room service was excellent,room being serviced while we were at breakfast
The corridor noise unsupervised children, gangs not one off incidents running through corridors and public areas, congregating, throwing bottles, lying on floor ways, shouting, using phones for 7 to 8 hours from 6 pm to midnight and well beyond makes this a must avoid hotel.
The noise starts again as they bang doors going in and out of rooms half the night and then early from 6 as they return to other rooms. This was a complete waste of money, a holiday from hell.
The night and hotel staff who were on duty Wednesday night were amazing trying to deal with the significant issues which had actually lasted several days. Not a one off!!! Management should advise all guests this is a hotel unsuitable for guests who require sleep or want to feel safe on corridors.
The hotel itself was lovely, food was beautiful and staff were very helpful. It was central from travelling back and forth to my daughter and son's matches as they were taking part in the Foyle Cup.
No fridge in the room
The hotel is very welcoming and we had a lovely big room overlooking the golf course. The food and service were great. It is very good value for money especially when you consider the complimentary golf. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
