I didn't even get to check in ... I got rejected a room because of how I looked and for being a native that the hotel automatically assumed my wife and I were criminals and rejected us and on top of that the want to send me an email asking how my stay was I didn't get to stay and I was charged for it

Surgery Stay
Pros:

It was a great hotel. Nice and close to the Kingsway mall, the RAH hospital.

Cons:

The one chair I would have switched out to have one of the chairs that were in the lobby. The lobby ones were much better after surgery.

Excellent value close to downtown Edmonton.
Pros:

Great room and restaurant. Bar had a great selection of craft beers and all the food was prepared fresh. Didn't use the pool but everything was very clean and well supplied. Even the little store in the lobby has everything you might have forgotten.
