I can’t recommend this experience enough! I wish we’d planned a longer stay to be able to enjoy it all.
Pros:

We were stunned at how beautiful the grounds were of this historical and beautiful castle. The pictures don’t capture it all. It exceeded our expectations and was our favorite hotel during two weeks of traveling in Germany and Italy.

The rooms and bathrooms had plenty of space, the in-room kitchen was well-appointed (we had picked up meat, cheeses, breads, pasta and wine in Siena and had that for dinner), and the beds were comfortable.

Cons:

The signage to the castle wasn’t super clear, but Luca was super helpful in guiding us to the correct spot. Be aware that it is very remote and there aren’t many restaurants around. We loved the remoteness after fighting crowds.
