A great option especially if you plan to use the bus
Pros:

It was modern, super-clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed and a good breakfast, right by the bus stop and close to the waterfront. Close enough (say 20
mins walk) to the heart of the city but also had sufficient good eating options nearby including a reasonably priced food hall.

Cons:

Nothing. Not a complaint but it is modern/functional rather than characterful and some people might find it a bit out of the centre.

Overpriced. Clean, but meh.

Right across from bus stop 12. Clean.

Cons:

I know Iceland is expensive, but this felt like a budget hotel for a luxury price. I booked late and there was minimal inventory in Reykjavik so my options were limited. Very pricey for the level of accommodation and lack of amenities. Okay breakfast. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Lots of tour/cruise groups.

Gutes Hotel für eine Nacht
Pros:

Das Frühstück sehr gut. Bequeme Betten. Angenehme Regendusche. Möglichkeit um selber Kaffee zu machen. Sehr sauber, Lift ist schnell. Personal ist mehrsprachig.

Cons:

Keine Staumöglichkeiten, kaum Platz für den Koffer. Wir waren für eine Kreuzfahrt da und haben daher nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht. Für mehrere Tage würde ich ein Hotel im Zentrum wählen.

What was great was great and what was lacking was definitely lacking
Pros:

Overall was great. Breakfast was lacking. Limited options no bacon, sausages and only hard boiled eggs no coffee cream for your coffee. Breakfast staff were awesome sufficient dining space Would’ve been nice to have an in room safe and no hanging door sign to advise when to make up the room or do not disturb sign we were able to park each night, but the parking space was limited, and one of the guests was parked in a yellow spot which made it hard to get out of the parking area even after having the front reception advise us do not park in the yellow space.

Overall pleasant stay
Pros:

Very clean, modern and well- maintained. Room just large enough, but not huge. Near nil amenities and very basic breakfast. 20 minute walk to downtown, but more than half of that walk through the main shopping street, so convenient location.

Etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums, aber wir konnten alles zu Fuss erkunden, etwa eine halbe Std. Zur Kirche oder zum alten Hafen

Good location and facility but VERY SMALL ROOMS
Pros:

Great location, very clean, excellent staff, delicious breakfast, nice lobby for hanging out to play games, nice bar. I would have rated it a 5 but our room on the 5th floor with a balcony was SOOOOOOO small. We were on top of each other. There is no lace for luggage at all. The furnishings are minimal and very clean but the space is so limited. There are a few complimentary parking spaces out back, otherwise you do street parking. It is free 9 pm to 9 am but otherwise you have to pay. As long as you are familiar with the parking apps for Iceland it’s not complicated or that expensive. Get there early, park in the free spaces out back and leave your car there. There are fabulous walking areas around. It is a nice place but the rooms are very very small. Paying for parking is annoying but certainly not a deal breaker.
