Bed heater was a nice touch though not really neccessary in Tasmania Winter.
Parking was easy
very little soundproofing so you'll likely wake up to neighbourhood sounds (rubbish collector/dogs)
Curtains aren't even close to black-out, lots of light gets in 24/7.
Stairs are extremely steep, could pose a risk to older people
quite at night handy to where we needed to go
bit small dusty not enough tea bags
It was a very cosy home and had everything I needed to be comfortable for my 2 night stay.
I could hear everything from all the neighboring rooms, but this is understandable because we wouldn’t want to make any changes to the historic structure
It was delightful to stay in this 1820s building, and the accommodation was cosy, comfortable and homelike. My teenage boys were fascinated by the antique knickknacks and we were all surprised and touched at the level of trust shown in having such nice things in the rooms.
Everything!!!
Nothing!!
Amazing historical building. Beautifully maintained. Bigger than expected. Easy drive to the airport.

Nothing the place was great and the location was good
Fantastic heritage building to stay in, clean and well furnished for comfort, convenient to drive to Hobart or down to Port Albert. Very easy unattended check in.
This little cottage was just right for a nights stay. Everything you need.
The fire alarm going off at 4am for no reason. Reported this to the host and he was great.
Lovely, very old seafarers/gaolers dwelling in Sorell. Fantastic value for true heritage 🙌
Very quirky units and clean
We didn’t like the noise coming from below our unit they kept us awake all night.
Absolutely gorgeous rooms, loved the old style furnishings, very in keeping with the building.
Lovely vibe in a historic building
All good
The facilities were good. Easy to move around in and very comfortable. It also had a very warm feeling about it.
When I booked I didn't realise the staircase up to the room would be so steep. Otherwise it was a lovely cute place. Only one thing I would do is install a handrail up the staircase. For safety.
Easy to get into, plenty of parking, lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance
Nothing
Historical feel
Steep stairs and low sloped ceilings difficult for taller people
