Waldorf Newhaven Apartments has a strict no noise and no party policy after 22:00 hours. It allows a maximum of 2 extra guests per room between the hours of 08:00 hours and 22:00 hours. Any extra guests or after hours guests must have prior approval by management.

If no credit card is present at check-in for authorization a NZD$500.00 security cash bond plus valid photo ID must be provided as a guarantee for all incidental charges or damage to the room. Please kindly note the credit card authorizations are released on the date of check out and can take up to five business days to appear back on your account.

Please note that there is a 1.5% surcharge applies for all credit card transactions.

Pros:

I like the location it is all close to shopping center and easy access bus to the CBD.

Cons:

A comfy place it's nice and quite to walk in the morning and afternoon around the area.

Why another tax invoice
Pros:

best location in Botany region

Cons:

Ants in the kitchen and the north facing bedroom. No soap or shampoo holders in the shower booth and toilet cistern leaking as shown on pictures attached. I had to buy ants killing spray myself and had been watching every day. Later on a staff brought a kind of sticky liquid and installed it along the area ants appearing. Mostly remedied by staffs but not quick enough. Very uncomfortable experience.
Finally I have received the tax invoice from this accommodation today. The tax invoice which I have already paid on 3 Feb 2026, almost 3 month before. I want to ask the reason to this accommodation.

Pros:

Castle Newhaven excellent value for money clean and safe area. Great gym and pool close to our apartment. Close to Botany shopping mall across the road and within good distance to Auckland Airport.

Absolutely loved our stay here. I’d come back!
Pros:

Loved the location, the amenities, free parking, laundry in our place, great kitchen with all you need to cook. Heaters, fan, air con. The wifi! Everything.

Cons:

Nothing, it was a great place to stay for 4 nights!

Suggest if you have young children and aged parent , stay away from this apartment. Unless you want to practice those amazing stairs.
Kitchen rangehood is dripping oil.
The toilet bowl is very smelly. I have to spray Harpic toilet spray myself.

Excellent stay we loved it!
Pros:

Perfect apt in a perfect location. Aircon nice and cold and bedroom fans were a blessing.

Cons:

Small issue with the dryer that did not dry my load of washing the night before departure so had to take it elsewhere to dry. Not sure why had checked multiple times.
