Need arrive early to meet someone
We arrived around 9 pm so we are waiting until someone open front door but breakfast was outstanding
The girl gave us food to go also
She was nice
Room was very clean big for 3 people
Shower was very good
Better then in other hotel in Iceland

Friendly place

This hotel is super clean and nice, with breakfast included. The staff are very friendly, though their English skills are limited. It is the largest hotel I've stayed in, and the room includes a bathroom. Additionally, coffee and tea are available.

I was initially worried (after reading other reviews), and the place looked empty when we arrived, but I was surprised at how good this place is. Yes, it does have self check in, but many places in Iceland do this. The room was very clean. The shower was the best one I’ve had this week, and we’ve stayed at different places each night. The continental breakfast was amazing! It had much more variety than at an American hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only problem was getting the check in code, but I blame Expedia for not forwarding it to me ( same thing happened at another stay).

There is a self check in system and there was nobody to talk to so we couldn’t get our check in code.
There was no way to access our hotel room.
So if you are relying on sleeping here for a night there’s a good chance you’ll be stuck like us.

Everything was great, the staff was fantastic too

Extremely rude staff. No one is at check in desk. We never rcvd the check in code. Tried to call the number listed on the booking atleast 100 times but there was no answer. The housekeeping staff there does not know english and were unwilling to listen to anything. Another couple was also going through the same thing at the same time. There was no one. Check in process is horrible. Rooms are ok.

Self check-in was a little bit hiccups at first. But after that everything was great. The shower area was a little bit too small but we managed that.

Ismail was very resourceful there and went above and beyond to accommodate me and check in early during a snow storm. Great experience overall!

Easy to get to from the main highway and great process to get the key with minimal effort. Would recommend this spot to others.

It's a good place to hunt north lights

The property itself was fine. The fact that no one is around and you do checkin by phone is a bit weird but maybe that’s the new normal. They have an awesome dinning facility but it’s closed. The only place to eat is the large N1 gas station which was good but about 2 miles away. Just odd for such a nice place. Rooms were good and very clean. Just kind of odd the way things were. There were about 6 other cars that came. It’s really the only place to stay in this part so don’t hesitate to book it but be prepared. It’s quiet.

This was a beautiful and quiet stop across our journey around the Ring Road of Iceland. This stay was conveniently located along our route and thought there is not much else located around this stay, we did find the BEST restaurant in Iceland, Sjávarborg Restaurant. This was by far the most amazing food experience in Iceland.

The hotel is a basic but clean. The complimentary breakfast is a plus. However, there was some issue on obtaining the lock passcode from the hotel. I was told that the passcode will be emailed to me on the day of my check-in but I did not receive it by email. I had to use roaming of my phone to call the hotel at noon for the passcode.

Beautiful place in a quiet location perfect to relax and enjoy the natural environment. The room was big, clean and well taken care of. Easy check in using lockers for the keys. Overall it was a pleasure staying there!

Difficulty in checking in, no instructions on how to open the room door. No cups or classes in the room.

Very clean. Staff should improve their hospitality; or may be they just don't speak English well, so they are a bit shy.

I would find other accommodations, honestly. There was no Internet, no TV, no amenities in the bathroom, no hot water kettle, no refrigerator, the showerhead had little pressure. The bed was comfortable and the heat worked. Very poor value for the money.

Employee was very accommodating regarding extra towels. Our stay included a very good and versatile breakfast.
