The Vasilicos

Went for our honeymoon. Vanessa, Chris and the team did an excellent job of looking after us. Nothing was too much. House keeping team were brilliant.

Absolutely amazing stay for our honeymoon. We loved everything about this hotel. The workers went above and beyond to make our stay even more special especially the male worker (forgot his name). Breakfast was amazing. Location was perfect away from the noise but within walking distance to restaurants. I did so much research before booking and I can gladly say this was the perfect location and hotel. Stunning views!

Great location, amazing views and excellent service. This hotel is a gem. Christos and. An essay made our stay memorable. We stayed at the Belvedere suite, which is very spacious and has an amazing terrace. You can just stay there all day and take in the amazing caldera views. Vasilicos is an easy 15-20 min downhill stroll to Fira and there is also plenty to do around. If you do not want to be among tourists all the time, it is a great spot. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Our stay in Santorini was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. Every single person we interacted with was warm, kind, and always ready to answer any questions with a smile. It’s rare to find a team that makes such a lasting impression, and the V-team truly did.

The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, so clean and peaceful, with stunning views of the sea and island that we never got tired of. You have a front seat to what probably is the best view from the island. There was a sense of calm and charm in every corner, and it was clear that a lot of thought and love goes into keeping the place so special.

One of our favorite little touches was a sweet cat named Summer who lives on the grounds. She added such a cozy, homey vibe; our daughter especially adored her. It’s small things like that, combined with the genuinely caring people and the breathtaking setting, that made this stay feel so personal and memorable.

We can’t wait to return someday. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip to Santorini so magical!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at The Vasilicos from July 16-20. We had never been to Santorini before, and our plan was to 'veg out' after a family cruise the week prior. We did not know what to expect, however we were completely amazed, not only at the views from the hotel, but at the exceptional service provided by everyone there. The location was prefect – away from the crowds in Fira (a short walk away) and Oia (a short drive away). From the moment we arrived, we were pampered by the very friendly staff and there was never a moment that we felt neglected or forgotten. They took care of transportation arrangements when we asked, our breakfast was served promptly when we requested it every morning, and they were happy to recommend wonderful restaurants no matter which town we were planning to visit. Both Dimitrios and Chris handled all our luggage delivery to and from our room without any effort and really took wonderful care of us. Their chef, Yannis, was exceptional in both his preparation and presentation of our meals, in particular the fabulous Caldera Candlelight dinner on their patio with an unobstructed view of a magnificent sunset. The rooms are well appointed, and the pool was just outside our door. It was truly a perfect holiday in a magical setting, and we would most definitely return to The Vasilicos without hesitation!!

The staff are very friendly

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Vasilicos during our babymoon. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and they really treated us like family. The property was private since there was a monastery on the hill above (no tourists walking through your hotel area!) and it had a spectacular view of the caldera. If we ever have a chance to go back, I hope we can stay here again!

The Vasilicos was THE PERFECT STAY for our vacation in Greece. The location was perfect and the views were immaculate! We stayed in the Pergola suite and it was definitely 10/10! The staff was nothing short of amazing and they were so hospitable and helpful with recommendations around the island. If you are coming to Santorini, PLEASE BOOK HERE! You will not be disappointed!

What an amazing hotel! Monique and I loved everything about this place, from the stellar service to the incredible room views and the delicious meals. We cannot say enough good things about The Vasilicos, and truly hope to return in the future.

The service and staff was truly exceptional. So friendly, attentive, proactive! Yes, its a gorgeous property with the best views on the island, but the people that work there make it truly exceptional.

The Vasilicos is a fabulous and very special place. The location is perfectly placed in between Fira and Imerovigli which means it has a more spacious feeling. The views are stunning and the wonderfully friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend a stay here. We will definitely return

Our stay at the Vasilicos was hands-down the best hotel experience we've ever had. Ever! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
From the moment we arrived, the manager Konstantina was friendly, attentive, and unbelievably welcoming. The actual hotel is very intimate with perfect, uninterrupted, and breathtaking views of the caldera over the immaculate swimming pool.
Mornings are glorious, sunsets are beyond words and the food is worth staying in for. The hotels' breakfast and diner chefs created some of the finest meals during our entire Greek vacation.
The waiters Kyrgiakos and Geoge are the definition of professionalism and the warmth and hospitality of the entire staff was truly amazing.
The hotel is located between Fira and Imerovigli which provides for a perfect location to easily walk to either town.
Our stay here was magical and we are already making plans to head back to the Vasilicos as soon as possible.

The Vasilicos is perched over the Caldera with the best view location of any hotel on the island. The staff go above and beyond and are always there to assist when needed. Breakfast was amazing too!

The friendliness of the staff and deliciousness of the food

Literally not enough great things to say about this place, from the room design to the OUTSTANDING views to the INCREDIBLE breakfast. And let me just say, the queen of the castle (per se), manager extraordinaire, Fiorela is literally the most organized, detail-oriented and attentive that I have ever met. She and the rest of the staff will take time to painstakingly understand your needs on the trip, and make your stay seamless (both inside and outside of the hotel). Will stay here in future many many many times, I hope, and would recommend it to everyone!! Only warning: you may never want to step foot off the property once you check in, so be wary of too many other plans! Haha. Enjoy!
