Agréable, mais trop cher par rapport au service
Pros:

L'emplacement au cœur du parc, la disponibilité du personnel de l'hôtel

Cons:

Le prix de la chambre est beaucoup trop élevé par rapport au service fourni. Les repas en demi pension sont variés, mais le buffet pourrait être de meilleure qualité. La sélection d'alcool est pauvre. L'hôtel est un peu vieillissant dans la partie traditionnelle. Les prix pratiqués ne sont pas en phase avec le luxe de certains établissements de ce type, notamment au Japon

Convenient location for alishan trails and for the sunrise
Pros:

Right in the recreation area so easy access to the trails. Good breakfast and dinner buffet which are included in the price. They have a shuttle that transports you to the station for the sunrise train, and shuttles between the hotel, visitor centre and bus/ transport hub. The staff were all very lovely and attentive

Cons:

I think the property is overpriced for what it is. I stayed in the historical building which no one told me how to find so I ended up on the other building and a lovely shop assistant saw me and escorted me to the historical building. The room was old and difficult to heat up.

A great stay at Alishan
Pros:

Breakfast and dinner selection were great and cater for vegan.
Room size and bathroom were great and well equipped.
Staff and services were great and helpful.

Cons:

Location is a bit secluded but the hotel provides regular shuttle services to the visitor centres and bus transit area if requested.
The hotel rate was quite expensive though.

Pros:

Inside the park, which makes it easier to get to train station to watch sunrise. Easy access to trails.

Cons:

The dinner buffet can be improved. Stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast buffet is better than dinner. I would say dinner buffet for both nights is maxed for me. Many dishes on the sweet side for me.

Overall good.
Pros:

Very convenient to see sunrise and also walk through the forest. The dinner and breakfast buffet were excellent.

Cons:

The building we stayed was in the old building. Shower door has a bit linking. Also we were not able to adjust the room temperature to be a bit higher. There was a portable heater but it was too noise.

over priced, over hyped, only good for location and clean...

Cons:

buffet breakfast - horrible, tourist horde certain dishes and then they are not replenished. there was no refresh of the buffet. food comes out at 6:30 am and can stay until gone (ie 3 hours)
