Many positives but lack of decent breakfast and unsafe area are negatives
Pros:

Great location in terms of being within walking distance of Canada Life Centre and numerous restaurants. That said, the area felt very unsafe. Even as a group of four walking, we were approached by a number of individuals on the street who appeared to be intoxicated. Wish there were better breakfast options right inside the hotel - couldn’t even get a quick Tim Hortons (the one in the building is closed on weekends). The room was big and clean and nicely decorated, but the street noise and lack of properly light blocking window shade made for a poor sleep. There was a good crowd and karaoke in the bar that evening, which was fun.

Always a great stay
Pros:

As always, a trip to Winnipeg, of course always stay at The Alt. Usually we travel as a couple and request a specific room number - funny it is like coming home that way. The latest stay I traveled solo and requested a room in the upper floors. Talk about a welcoming! A lovely welcoming card, a reusable aluminum bottle of water; and a wonderful bag of Utoffeea popcorn by a local entrepreneur.
Home is was. 😃
The rooms are lovely, clean, and have soft, cozy bedding on a very comfortable bed. There is a spectacular shower and the bathroom is equipped with everything you need with wonderful toiletries.
The building is pretty well soundproof, and the staff warm and very welcoming. Check in and out is seemless. Thanks again. See you again soon.

Le restaurant-bar du Lobby, qui n’en est pas vraiment un mais pour lequel on reçoit des invitations par texto

De las habitaciones mas chulas que he tenido
Pros:

El hotel es un 10 de manual. Desde la atención que recibes hasta las instalaciones y las habitaciones. Cama, tamaño de la habitación, toallas... genial. Estuve enfermo casi 2 dias y estuve estupendamente recuperándome en la habitación. Las habitaciones son una monada y los baños muy modernos y bien equipados.

Cons:

El hotel no tiene servicio de buffet, pero tienes cafeterías y restaurantes cerca al estar en pleno Downtown. También es cierto para que el esté algo informado o familiarizado con Winnipeg, que el centro no es la mejor zona de la ciudad, pero si lo que buscas es un hotel, este es de lo mejor para ti
