Great location, clean, comfortable, wonderful staff, terrific breakfast
Pros:

Great location; less than a mile from the archaeology site--walk to restaurants and other commercial activity. Terrific staff--friendly and accomodating. Wonderful view from our room. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Parking can be a challenge--garage was full and street parking is limited, but staff cleared a space for us on the street--just opposite the hotel.

I really liked this hotel!
Pros:

Both of the ladies from the reception staff were friendly and helpful, but especially Violet, who gave me additional information on what to expect when I would visit the archeological site the next day.

This hotel pays attention to little extras that, although not essential, add something to the stay: things such as hand-painted artwork in the rooms, a better selection at breakfast (including honey straight from the honeycomb), and audiophile-grade B&W speakers in the lounge area. I didn’t see the speakers at first but noticed the sound quality and just sat and listened for a while.

This hotel is located on the opposite end of Delphi town from the archeological site and the main bus stop (I arrived by bus). This may seem to be a disadvantage, but it’s really not if you realize two things. The first is that the town isn’t that big and I’ll bet that you’re going to walk the town anyway, looking for a restaurant or doing some shopping. BUT the key is to ignore the route your phone gives you, as it will send you up the upper road, which has a steep uphill climb. Instead, take the middle road, which is more level and has more of interest. You will come to the same point where the roads converge again, and this is where the hotel is located. The second thing is that while the main bus stop is at the other end of town, the bus will stop, on request, at the end of town where the hotel is - you just have to make sure you understand the stop and speak to the driver before arrival. When departing you do have to know where they stop (if people are waiting) and make sure you’re there. The reception staff will help you with this.

Cons:

The design of the shower is such that there’s a glass that covers only half of the shower. It does not keep the water in or the cold air out, but this is only a minor issue. It isn’t unique to this hotel. I’ve seen it in other places too. Somewhere there is a bathroom designer who thought this was cute, and it caught on. But it doesn’t work!
