Great place to stay , friendly staff , excellent breakfast
Pros:

Good location , friendly staff , good and varied buffet , clean room

Cons:

Pool was rather tiny - smallest ever I have seen
The travel desk made a mess of the request for a mini van for the following 6 days of our trip .
The vehicle offered did not meet the stated requirement
It needed the intervention of the GM of the facility to satisfactorily close the matter and arrange the mini van

Pros:

The location was near the lake, but not on the main road so it was quiet and peaceful. Rooms were nice and comfy. Equiped with everything you need. Beautiful view from window and from the roof top. The pool isn't big and in the evening it is a bit cold. Great breakfast.

Fully worthy of what we paid .
Pros:

Our room view with Kandy lake was amazing.
The staff were very friendly and courteous . Well trained.
Buffet was excellent and had great choices.
Pool and Bar on rooftop and we enjoyed the evening cocktails.

Cons:

Road to the hotel is narrow and we were there during school hours and was stuck for some time . Better avoid school traffic.

Great hotel, well-priced, and close to center.
Pros:

Well located hotel with comfortable rooms, including view over the lake and on walking distance to the center and the Temple of the Relic Tooth. Welcome drink upon arrival and good breakfast.

Cons:

Staff forgot to bring the luggage to the room, after it was ready for check in.

Great location, clean hotel and couldn’t have expected more from the staff.

Cons:

We had complimentary chocolates and cookies! The hotel was so clean and well looked after, staff were very proactive in making the environment perfect for guests.

Pros:

Clean hotel with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. One of the best breakfast buffets I had during my stay in Sri Lanka, and I have stayed in several different hotels. The room was clean, the restroom was well maintained, and the shower had good water pressure. Overall, a very pleasant stay with an amazing lake view.

A solid base to see Kandy .. good for solo travellers.. safe and secure.
Pros:

The position just above hotel suisse meant I had a nice view of the lake from my balcony..the room was very clean and was well maintained..exactly as you would expect from a Radisson hotel.A good solid base to see Kandy.The breakfast and dinner buffet was good .. the omelette station staff were authentically friendly… as was Ruvindya in the restaurant… and the young staff member who was serving at the pool bar ..he was particularly helpful.These staff members stood out.Lovely position to do a walk around the lake before breakfast if you like.

Cons:

The dinner buffet although very good .. but sometimes could benefit from a little attention after the tour groups had attacked it … saying that the cake/ desert selection was very impressive .Although I enjoyed the walk up the hill to the hotel it is a bit of a climb.

Чистый современный отель, хорошие завтраки, приятный ненавязчивый персонал, удобное месторасположение 3 минуты от озера. Кровати в отелях Редиссон отдельный вид удовольствия)))

Cons:

Шкаф располагается в ванной, что создаёт дополнительную влажность для вещей. Бассейн на фото кажется больше. В целом хороший отель, мы бы вернулись)

Great hotel, fabulous staff!
Pros:

Really enjoyed the Radisson, the staff were all absolutely lovely! Very welcoming, the breakfast was great, the roof top pool and view are stunning and the hotel is in a great location by the lake.

Cons:

The terrible music playing on the rooftop at the pool. Better to play some light background music to keep it relaxing.

Peaceful Stay with Warm Hospitality
Pros:

I really liked the location. It’s close to Kandy Town and the Dalada Maligawa, but still feels peaceful and a bit countryside‑like. The views from the top floors of the lake and temple are amazing. The food was excellent, with a nice mix of Sri Lankan, European and Indian dishes. The rooms were bright, airy and had everything I needed. Most of all, the hospitality stood out. The manager and staff were so friendly and helpful, they made the stay feel really warm and welcoming.
