Excellent place
Pros:

Beautiful restored building in a great location. All the staff were friendly and kind. Really good breakfast included. Parking is available in a secure lot.

Cons:

There was a little road noise starting early in the morning but nothing excessive.

Une maison d'hote de charme à petit prix

Ancienne maison coloniale restaurée avec beaucoup de bon gout, les chambres sont spacieuses, meublées avec des grands lits confortables et équipées , tables et lampes de nuit, place où mettre les bagages et les affaires, salles de bain avec douche ou baignoire. Espace communs, dont petit jardin, et, si besoin, une grande cuisine.
Bon petit déjeuner au choix servi amplitude horaire.
Tout est très propre et ordonné, le personnel très attentif et aimable, ainsi que le propriétaire qui vit sur place
Le meilleur hôtel où j'ai séjourné en Colombie, au point que j'ai doublé ma réservation.

La casa es muy bonita, con un patio muy agradable para desayunar.

Fantastisch!
Pros:

Ein sehr schönes Haus in zentraler Lage von Salamina. Der Empfang durch Victor war herzlich und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist mal richtig gut. Es gibt genügend guten Kaffee. Ich habe hier also gar nichts vermisst und komme gerne wieder. Dankeschön!

Ein Hinweis zur Anfahrt: Wer aus Richtung Medellin mit dem eigenen Auto kommt, wird irgendwann von der Hauptstraße links abbiegen und eine kleine Straße über La Merced nach Salamina fahren. Über die Hälfte dieser Strecke ist nicht asphaltiert und nur sehr langsam und echt rau zu fahren. Das Gehoppel geht locker zwei Stunden. Ich empfehle, das nicht mit einem Kleinwagen zu machen. Ich hatte einen Renault Duster Stepway, der etwas höher liegt und mir gerade so ausreichend schien. Dann gab es kurz vorm Ziel eine Baustelle mit kompletter Straßensperre (Anfang November 2025). Dies bedeutende einen Umweg von weiteren knapp zwei Stunden, das meiste davon ebenfalls über Stock und Stein und im Kleinwagen absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Von Manizales kommend ist die Straße komplett asphaltiert. Das ist die bessere Route.
