Dommage pour la playlist de musique au restaurant qui n’a rien de local du tout. La musique se limitait à du Eminem ou très américain quand nous aimerions écouter quelque chose de plus local et africain
Everything was awesome, we liked everything in this hotel, we recommend 100%. Its beautiful, cozy, we stayed at a little house” with a room at the entrance, big room inside and bathroom. The decoration makes you really feel you are in Africa. The location is very Good as well the food ( we have dinner almost all nights at the beach lounge) and breakfast. We arrive a bit late for the check in but the staff managed to help us, as well everything else we needed. I would absolutely return to Flame Tree! We are absolutely grateful to Flame Tree staff specially to Agnes, she was amazing!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and enjoyed every single day here! Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived.
We booked half board and were especially impressed by the food. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent every day. Breakfast offers a wonderful variety, and there was always plenty to choose from. We were also very happy to find so many delicious vegetarian options at both breakfast and dinner.
Dinner was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The dining area is located directly by the beach, and enjoying a delicious meal with the sound of the ocean and such a beautiful view made every evening feel special.
The beach itself is lovely and perfect for relaxing, but there are also plenty of activities available if you want to explore or do something more adventurous.
Overall, we had such a lovely time in Zanzibar and have many wonderful memories from our stay. We would happily come back and can absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay in Zanzibar. Thank you for a fantastic time!

I am very grateful to Margaret for moving me to another room, as I felt extremely uncomfortable when they checked me into my room on the 1st floor. They had a room available and they upgraded me to a higher category room at no extra cost, which I am very grateful for because in my opinion the rooms in this hotel are overpriced. Breakfast menu is very limited. I'm not used to this. In general, I liked that the hotel is on the first line with its sun loungers, the center with shopping arcades is nearby, and there is also a taxi station.
There were strange sounds at night, I sleep very lightly, so it bothered me. Overall, I realized that Zanzibar is not my place, and I will not fly there again.

er werd ons bij aankomst gezegd dat we een upgrade kregen maar dat betekende voor en naar ons een bouwplek waar gewerkt werd én we zaten boven de keuken. Dat was alles behalve een upgrade. Ook de kwaliteit van het avond eten was niet best. Omdat we een aantal keer vroeg op moeten ivm duiken hadden we op tijd ons ontbijt besteld maar ook dat kwam eigenlijk te laat waardoor we echt moesten haasten
Great location with ocean view and well kept gardens. Good sized pool which never got busy with loungers.
Family room that fit five was really useful and brilliant restaurant - all food and drinks were really nice.
Staff really helpful and friendly. Thank you to Margaret the manager for going over and above liaising with our airline to retrieve our delayed luggage. Catherine in the restaurant for looking after us so well with a big smile. Agnes and all the staff were so hardworking.

The room could do with an update but it was clear this process has been started across the property.

Al check in Margaret ci ha addebitato senza ascoltare le nostre parole la tassa di soggiorno (tassa infrastrutture) anche se l’avevamo già pagata con Booking.
Locatie was goed. Personeel was vriendelijk en altijd bereid om je te helpen. Direct aan het strand en het eten was goed! Beter dan mega resorts met all inclusive. Leuke live entertainment. Agnes was ontzettend lief!

The hotel is located right by the sea, which is definitely one of its biggest advantages. It is a small property with only a few rooms, making it feel quiet and intimate. Our room was cleaned every day, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, there were quite a few things that disappointed us. There are many crows around the property throughout the day, and they can be particularly noisy early in the morning when they land and move around on the roof.
The facilities and overall appearance of the hotel feel quite dated, and the mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable.
The food was average considering the prices, which we found quite high. Service was also very slow, although long waiting times seem to be quite common on the island.
Communication with the staff was sometimes difficult, as several of the waiters spoke very limited English and struggled to understand even fairly simple requests.
Another disappointing point was the drinking water: there is no free drinking water available for guests apart from one litre provided per day for the entire room. Considering the climate and the price of the hotel, we expected better.
Overall, we were not satisfied with the value for money. Having stayed at other hotels in Nungwi in the same price range, we found the overall standard and quality here noticeably lower.
Un lugar excelente para pasar las vacaciones en Zanzibar. Son unas casetas muy bonitas y muy bien adornadas. Zona de piscina privada, buenas comidas, buen personal. Un lugar sin duda recomendable 100% y para repertir.
