Poloha skoro v centru města, výborná bohatá snídaně, velmi milý nápomocný personál, parkovací místa hned za hotelem, ochota s pomocí a organizací, jízdenka na MHD města zdarma

Ganz wunderbar uns gerne wieder!

Ein schönes gemütliches Hotel. Hatte ein ganz wunderbares EZ gehabt und sehr ein bequemes Bett. Frühstück war auch super mit viel Auswahl. Sehr nette Damen an der Rezeption und sehr hilfsbereit.

Pros:

Der Empfang war nett. Das Zimmer grosszügig. Parkplatz gleich beim Hotel. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig. In der Nacht angenehm ruhig.

Enttäuschend und frustrierend

Frühstück war gut, Lage auch.

Cons:

Wir haben uns für das Hotel Constantia aufgrund der hellen, modernen und ansprechenden Zimmer entschieden. In der Beschreibung wird zudem mit Schallisolierung und grossen Doppelbetten geworben. Diese schönen Zimmer gibt es zwar, aber was auf Booking komplett verheimlicht wird, ist, dass das Hotel auch noch völlig veraltete, dunkle Zimmer mit Teppichboden hat. Genau in so eines wurden wir gesteckt.

Zuerst bekamen wir ein extrem hellhöriges Zimmer direkt unter der Treppe, mit einem kleinen 140cm-Bett und Teppich. Die Reklamation an der Rezeption war unglaublich mühsam. Man versuchte regelrecht, uns abzuwimmeln, mit absurden Ausreden wie: „Sie haben das Zimmer wie gebucht“ oder „Ich mache das nicht selber, ich kann nichts dafür“. Nur weil ich hartnäckig blieb, war dann doch ein Zimmerwechsel möglich. Das zweite Zimmer war ruhiger und hatte die korrekte Bettengrösse, war aber exakt genauso dunkel, abgewohnt und wieder mit Teppich ausgelegt. Auf TripAdvisor fanden wir später Gästefotos von 2009, die genau dieses Zimmer zeigen. Seit 17 Jahren wurden diese Zimmer nicht erneuert, ihre Existenz wird aber unterschlagen.

Die schriftliche Antwort des Managements auf unsere Beschwerde war unter aller Sau. Die Situation an der Rezeption wird verdreht. Es wird behauptet, man hätte uns den Zimmerwechsel „umgehend ermöglicht“. Der fehlende Holzboden sei ausserdem kein Mangel, denn: Man habe den Teppich „bewusst verlegt, um Unebenheiten des historischen Hauses auszugleichen“. Es wird also sogar zugegeben, dass die Bilder und Beschreibung irreführend sind. Die alte Ausstattung wird als „Ausdruck von Qualität und Nachhaltigkeit“ verkauft. Die komplett anderen, modernen Bilder im Netz seien ja nur „exemplarisch“.

Fazit: Dieses Hotel täuscht Gäste im Inserat systematisch mit neuen, hellen Zimmern. Wenn man Pech hat, wird man in ein altes, lautes Zimmer mit zu kleinem Bett gesteckt. Wer in Konstanz ins Casino geht, kann mit der Wahl des Hotels schon mit Pokern anfangen.
