Tutto perfetto torneremo certamente

Loved the place. The cats and and fruit garden are terrific
La posizione, vista mare. Il palazzo antico confortevole.
Colazione semplice ma genuina. Paesino molto carino.
There is nothing not to love about this place! It's a gem- a one off - a treasure.
The history and loving restoration of the buildings are truly awe inspiring from room decor, the secret gardens, the turtles, the lucky cats, the swallow's nest in reception, the activities on offer but what makes this place magical are the hosts-the kindest family! In my 60 years of staying in hotels/air B&B s around the world, never have I met such generous souls- nothing is too much for them- kindness at its best. My husband who has many health problems became very ill during our stay, and though I asked only for a slightly later check out time to get him to the car (a bit of a walk!), the landlady (I'm so sorry, I never got your name!), sprang into action and called Luigi to help; I won't go into detail, but it involved Luigi taking my suitcase to my car and driving the car into the piazza, then dashing to and from the hotel to bring us a chair, walking stick and an umbrella to use to get my husband to the car, dashing back to the hotel to do his work, and dashing back to help us manipulate the medieval steps and alleys which finally brought us to the car (this all took approximately 40 minutes). All this, and we were only guests for one night! I have promised myself that I will go back one day to thank them properly and to go on one of the wonderful guided walks they offer. We have stayed in Pisciotta and the Marina on and off for 14 years, and this experience, though bittersweet, will be added to my chest of reasons why I love this magical place. Grazie Mille!
That I didn't have more time there.
