Great gateway in the nature
Pros:

Very nice staff, beautiful nature, lovely animals. Tayrona park entrance is only a few minutes away with the bus.

Cons:

The way to the hotel is not that well marked. The uber drivers had struggles finding it but we managed it in the end.

Pros:

Nuestra estadia en familia fue perfecta. Villa Maria es un lugar increible, pero sobre todo su gente que queremos resaltar, hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aun mejor. Desde el check in con Manuel, el restaurante con Ruby, Naty, Don George, Andres, personal de cocina, personal de aseo y mantenimiento. Tienen un gran equipo y eso hace que la experiencia sea 10 de 10

Le paradis à villa Maria Tayrona
Pros:

Très bel hôtel!! Tout est parfait, le bungalow dans la jungle est d'une propreté exemplaire, la déco magnifique avec les bambous et le bois donne une belle ambiance et notre chambre spacieuse avec une salle de bain originale nous offrait une vue splendide entre mer et jungle. Toute l'équipe de l'hôtel est adorable, serviable et pleine d'attentions pour nous . Et les aras et colibris sont au rv!
4 nuits parfaites!!

A wonderful retreat in nature
Pros:

Stunning location surrounded by amazing nature, helpful and friendly staff, delicious food

Cons:

Needs more lounge seating - there is no-where comfortable to sit outside your room, except for two small sofas by the pool.
Also, they don't tell you that the accommodation isn't in the main house. All the accommodation is in bungalows

Pros:

Ubicación cerca de la entrada al parque nacional, a 5 minutos en coche. Desayuno incluido exquisito. El personal muy amable y colaborador. Todo limpio y muy cómodo. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Pros:

El servicio es excelente, sus instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas y organizadas, el lugar es de ensueño pero el staff, todo el equipo de Villa María lo hace aún mejor, definitivamente la atención con ese paisaje, la comida de excelente calidad y su servicio acogedor lo hace el lugar perfecto y preferido para vacacionar, ultra recomendado y volveremos.

Super Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wunderschöne Anlage um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Wir hatten 5 Nächte dort und waren am letzten Tag immer noch begeistert. Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Dschungeltraum. Wer mit Papageien und Kolibris frühstücken möchte, sollte unbedingt hier buchen. Der Weg zum Strand ist ebenfalls ein absoluter Traum! Der Weg ist einfach nur wunderschön und unvergesslich. Es gibt einige Bungalows, mal mit besserer/schlechter Aussicht, alle sind aus Bambus gebaut und wurden täglich gereinigt, inkl. frischen Handtüchern und kleinen Wasserflaschen im Kühlschrank. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, professionell und entgegenkommend. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, auch was die Essensauswahl betrifft. Ich bin selbst Vegetarierin und habe immer was gefunden.

Cons:

Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir nach einem anderen Bungalow gefragt, da wir ein Standard Doppelzimmer gebucht hatten und wir im Erdgeschoss untergebracht waren, während bei noch sehr vielen freien Bungalows ein weiteres Paar über uns ins Dachgeschoss im selben Bungalow untergebracht wurde. Es war daher sehr laut, da man Schritte von oben eben hörte. Auf Nachfrage wurden wir erstmal vertröstet mit der Antwort, dass sie sich was überlegen. Das ist leider innerhalb 5 Tagen nicht passiert. Gerne hätten wir uns eine Rückmeldung gewünscht. Da die Anlage sehr groß ist und sich die Bungalows verteilen, gab es bei uns viel zu Laufen. Unser Bungalow war ziemlich weit hinten. Jedes Mal musste man Stufen hoch und runter laufen als auch die Hängebrücke überqueren, was durchaus ein Erlebnis ist. Sollte man nicht so gut zu Fuß sein, sollte man dies direkt anmerken bei der Wahl der Bungalows. Was das vegetarische essen betrifft, hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass es sowas wie Tofu zur Auswahl gibt oder generell mehr Auswahl und Abwechslung bei den vegetarischen Gerichten. Wir hatten einmal das Curry (mit und ohne Fleisch). Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass wir wirklich noch nie so ein schlechtes Curry gegessen hatten. Es bestand nur aus gelben und grünen Zucchini und Zwiebeln, der Reis war viel zu wenig und es war geschmacklos. Die Pasta Alfredo hingegen war hervorragend, sodass wir sie gleich 2x bestellten, allerdings von der Portion her viel zu wenig. Das Personal kam uns aber entgegen, was uns gefreut hat. Die Küche ist gut, doch mit Potenzial nach oben. Zuletzt wäre es toll, wenn es Seifenspender in den Bungalows gibt, so wie auf den Toiletten bei der Rezeption oder am Pool.

Pros:

We stayed here twice. Surrounded by beautiful jungle and views of the Caribbean. Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good food, parrots and humming birds.

Cons:

The only slight problem is the the reception can be disorganised (though very friendly) . On both stays, we arrived a little early, so checked in and relaxed by the pool - fair enough. Unfortunately, despite the rooms being ready, I had to ask a few times well after the usual check in time if we could eventually have our room.
I guess this is the definition of a 'first world problem' but we were keen for a shower after a long journey.

Perfect om tot rust te komen
Pros:

Heerlijk hotel om tot rust te komen. Mooie bungalows omgeven door groen en sommige met uitzicht op zee (ver in de horizon). Beste bed waar ik in Colombia heb geslapen met fijne kussens. Bungalow is van alle gemakken voorzien, er is een fijn zwembad en vriendelijk personeel. Via een pad dat grotendeels binnen het complex ligt ben je in tien minuutjes op het strand. Bonuspunten dat er zoveel opties zijn voor het ontbijt en je ook eens wat anders kunt eten dan ei, zoals een paar lokale opties. Ik had veel insecten en muggen verwacht in dit groene gebied, maar heb daar totaal geen last van gehad.

Cons:

Het leek erop dat het restaurant een personeelstekort had, want je moest soms vrij lang wachten. Niet echt een probleem, want op een plek als deze telt de tijd even niet, maar goed om rekening mee te houden.

malheureusement nous avons sejourne dans le secteur apres des pluies diluviennes qui ont sali les plages et le parc Tayrona etait fermé, ce que l'etablissement ne nous avait pas indiqué. Le petit dejeuner etait top et le personnel tres agreable
