Our stay was wonderful, and the hotel itself is a great location, perfect for a long weekend in Reykjavik!
Pros:

The location was fantastic as we had a lot of trips booked from Bus Stop 9. The continental breakfast was delicious and well stocked!

The bed was super comfy, we could have just done with two pillows as opposed to one.

The room was just as expected, simple but effective!

The bathroom facilities were fine, the shower had good power!

Cons:

We often found the difficult to do things in the main bedroom area as there was only one main light and your shadow often blocked what you were doing.

There is an eggy odour from the pipes due to the geothermal water heating, and we therefore didn’t feel comfortable drinking it. In future a glass water bottle in the room would be ideal.

Also the towels were often frayed and ripped, it would have been nice if they were in better condition.

Also a safe would be ideal for storing passports and other valuables in when leaving the room.

Väldigt bra läge, centralt i Reykjavik. Extra plus och väldigt viktigt, att de ingår parkering. Bra frukost också.

Very nice hotel, good for tourists
Pros:

it is very close to the town and city, only walk 5-10 mins you can arrive to town and some Attractions, breakfast is nice and stuff were very nice too, room is very good for rest and very quiet even on the side of the road, have freee parking is great.

Cons:

This is my second time staying at Skuggi and it was absolutely wonderful both times!
It would be really amazing however to have a small fridge in the rooms to keep leftovers and food fresh.

The money paid does not worth - could have paid the same staying at better hotels.
Pros:

The only good thing for this hotel is the location (near tour pick up bus station) and the garage car park.

Cons:

Breakfast was dull with few selections of food and no hot food - we couldn't bare with it for the first two days and ended up having breakfast in the bakery shops nearby.
Room was pretty dark even under day lights - not like how they advertised in the photos. Didn't feel very comfortable when staying in the room.

The breakfast was good, and the bed was good

Cons:

Bathroom countertop was dated and the corner was chipped. Shower door only half covered so the water easily splashed out and wet the bathroom floor

The breakfast was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The biggest rooms we had while traveling through 4 countries.

Perfektes Hotel um Reykjavik zu besuchen
Pros:

Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sauber aber dunkel eingerichtet. Es sind viele gratis Parkplätze vorhanden. Der Frühstückservice sowie das Personal an der Reception sind flink und hilfsbereit.

Good location and great breakfast selection
Pros:

The hotel is in a little quieter area than the old harbor area, yet very walkable to everything. Breakfast was very good and staff did a great job keeping all the choices well stocked. The hotel is a little generic feeling but we slept well and were pleased with the location.
