A cozy and modern hotel at a great location, just minutes away from the subway station. Staff was friendly and helpful, can't wait to return to the hotel when we visit the city again!

This is such a cute and stylish boutique hotel very convenient nearby Sogo with a strong music theme throughout. Everywhere you look, there are thoughtful music-inspired details-Taiwanese pop song lyrics on mirrors, posters on the walls, and vinyl records (黑膠碟) used as décor. It feels creative, playful, and very cool without being over the top.

The vibe of the hotel is warm and welcoming, and the design really makes it stand out from typical business hotels. You can tell a lot of care went into creating an immersive music environment.

A special shoutout to Anne at the reception-her English is perfect, and her service was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, she gave us such a warm welcome and explained everything with genuine enthusiasm, which immediately set the tone for our stay.

If you love boutique hotels, music culture, and thoughtful design, EPISODE Daan Taipei is a fantastic choice. Stylish, fun, and full of personality. I’d definitely stay here again.

What an awesome boutique hotel! Episode Daan has such a unique vibe — the music, the art, and the design details throughout the hotel really make it stand out. The lobby and lounge are amazing spaces to hang out, and the atmosphere is lively yet stylish.

The hotel had a great vibe and I especially loved the lounge and focus on music. However, the breakfast was a waste of money and very lackluster, the room periodically smelled like cigarette smoke when.the HVAC was running, and the complimentary water bottles had this odd oil smell and taste under the seal making them unpalatable. These are things I would expect at a much cheaper tier of hotel. Overall I would not stay here again given these issues.

Very stylish hotel in a hip Taipei area. Rooms are a good size, have a very cool in-floor bathtub. Japanese-style toilet. Good-size bed. However, the price is very high (Hyatt-style) and while the room is fine, there are some problems with the hotel. There is no proper reception, rather, it is integrated into a 'social space' with staff more responsible for the space than reception. As a result, one feels underapprecited as a guest. Also, there is a steak restaurant downstairs, which supposedly functions as a breakfast place as well, but no buffet, no vegetarian options. Given the very high prize, I will not return.

We were glad to stay two nights at Episode Daan Hotel. Your boutique hotel is very charming, and the lobby where most of the activities took place felt warm and relaxing, especially during Jazz Night. The service was great, and Jocelyn in particular was very friendly and efficient from the moment we checked in.

We only want to mention one issue. On the morning of our second day, a bad odor came from the bathroom pipes. We aired the room twice, but unfortunately the smell remained throughout the night.

We’ll definitely visit again, but we hope the odor issue can be checked and improved. Thank you.

Excellent service from Kimberly at the front desk, greeted me warmly and very politely the moment I arrived. She is the asset of the hotel! I had a great stay and definitely will come back again.

I think environment friendly concept may be adopted by the hotel from different perspective and not at the expense of their customers. As a 4.5 star hotel, a disposal toothbrush and tooth paste shall be provided FOC when we are actually paying a much higher price per night from the surrounding alternatives.

I love the hotel interior. It’s very cool and chic design. Location was great. It’s few minutes walk from train station and shopping mall. Staffs were helpful.

Location was pretty good: it was within a 15-20min comfortable walking distance to a lot of the fine dining places I had booked marked around the area; it was also in between 2 metro lines which made travelling to Taipei 101 or Ximen easier.
Room was expected of a Hyatt brand: clean, efficient and no complains.
I enjoyed the amenities from malin + goetz, bath salts and sheet masks.

I had an exceptional experience at Daan Taipei, and I can't recommend it enough! The level of service is truly outstanding. A heartfelt thank you to Cindy and Anne, who consistently go above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit. Their friendliness, sincerity, and helpfulness made me feel welcome and valued. They are a true asset to this hotel! I look forward to returning soon!

Love the location as it is very near the mrt. The room is really big and nice. Most importantly it’s really clean. The staffs are great too.
