Super nice hotel with the best location

Very nice and high quality hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at EPISODE Daan Taipei, and I can say without hesitation that the experience was truly above and beyond. From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, every detail was handled with care and excellence.

The Lounge Experience
A particular highlight of our stay was the lounge. We had several guests join us there, and the experience was consistently impressive. The selection of food and beverages was excellent, offering both quality and variety that exceeded our expectations. It served as the perfect backdrop for our group to relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the hotel.

EPISODE Daan has mastered the balance of modern style and traditional hospitality. To the entire team: thank you for making our visit to Taipei so special. We look forward to returning soon.

Very positive experience at one of the best hotels in Taipei. Cindy and her team were extremely helpful and nice - even sang birthday song twice for my birthday!! Would love to be back again at this wonderful hotel!

Neat hotel, clean and well managed with helpful staff that spoke English well. Great location within walking distance to MRT, restaurants, bars, and a major mall. I had an upgraded room with a tub/shower with stairs leading into it that looks oled great but will be difficult for someone older to use. The happy hour is also nice. They have snacks and drinks you can pick up free any time. If you take the included breakfast it is at Texas Roadhouse on 1st floor which is good but limited options if you stay there a few days.

Staying here for the 1st time. It’s a 4 star hip brand under Hyatt. Boutique style, no car porch. You stop by the side of the road, but at least there’s a bellboy

Lobby is dark , small and incorprates the lounge bar. Check in is DYI at a booth, but the staff can assist

The room is small but designed well. The shower is sunken that doubles as a bathtub, smart. No CNN on the telly though

Breakfast is at the texas roadhouse downstairs. Limited options, ok quality. Suffucient for small eaters like me, probably not for fussy or large eaters

Gym is tiny with only 2 treadmills and some machines

Location is good with MRT 1-2 blocks away plus the large Sogo Da an

I had a great time staying here at the Episode DaAn Taipei. I want to give shoutouts to Austin, Anne and Jocelyn. They are amazing and incredibly helpful with all of my needs. I was able to get my massage and eyelashes extensions reservations sorted thanks to Anne. Austin is super knowledgeable with the surrounding areas, and he was really helpful with travel suggestions ;)
Jocelyn helped me with getting in contact with a massage place.
The location of the hotel is amazing. It’s close to buses and many tourist sites by foot. There are many amazing food places nearby as well. I will comeback here the next time in Taipei.
The only con I can think of is the door lock thingy that sticks out when the door is unlocked. It’s very easy for us to bump into it. However that’s really not a big deal if anything.

The location of the hotel was excellent. We could see Taipei 101 from our room. The staff were very efficient and addressed all our requests. The water dispenser near the elevator is a great amenity. The cocktail hour was a plus and we enjoyed listening to the band. The hotel has a really good retro vibe. The list of restos, bars and coffee shops recommended by Candy were spot on and contributed to our memorable stay.

Had such a wonderful night at EPISODE Daan with my girlfriends. The room is beautifully designed with so many thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra personal and comfortable. It’s exactly the kind of place you want to be for a relaxing night out.
What really made the experience stand out was the amazing hospitality from Anne and Cindy. They were so warm and genuinely welcoming—it felt like being looked after by friends rather than just hotel staff. Their energy really brightened our stay! Location: good location with 7-10min walk from two stations

Atmosphere: cosy rooms, cosy front lobby with free snacks & drinks

Cleanliness: very clean with satisfactory room service daily; also provides face masks!

Noise: noise from roads is there but not disruptive

Amenities: gym available, luggage storage; toothbrush and other toiletries are on request only

A cozy and modern hotel at a great location, just minutes away from the subway station. Staff was friendly and helpful, can't wait to return to the hotel when we visit the city again!

This is such a cute and stylish boutique hotel very convenient nearby Sogo with a strong music theme throughout. Everywhere you look, there are thoughtful music-inspired details-Taiwanese pop song lyrics on mirrors, posters on the walls, and vinyl records (黑膠碟) used as décor. It feels creative, playful, and very cool without being over the top.

The vibe of the hotel is warm and welcoming, and the design really makes it stand out from typical business hotels. You can tell a lot of care went into creating an immersive music environment.

A special shoutout to Anne at the reception-her English is perfect, and her service was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, she gave us such a warm welcome and explained everything with genuine enthusiasm, which immediately set the tone for our stay.

If you love boutique hotels, music culture, and thoughtful design, EPISODE Daan Taipei is a fantastic choice. Stylish, fun, and full of personality. I’d definitely stay here again.
