Cornish hospitality at its best

Everything is perfect! The location is king and you’re in the heart of everything. The views of the harbour are stunning. We were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the harbour and it was delightful. The reception team are wonderful and welcoming!
Our room was very clean and the coffee machine was added bonus! The Bed was comfortable too. Next the breakfast
Wow it was beautiful so much choice and the food was really well presented , excellent quality. But most of all the staff were super lovely. Ellie and her team looked after us like we were friends. Really was 5 star service and we are all ready thinking of coming back next wear. We are 7 hours drive away but that won’t stop us booking again this wonderful Inn . Absolutely top notch!

Staff were so friendly - lively bar at night-time, but music always stopped at midnight - so much going on. Breakfasts are amazing.

Perhaps the carpet up the stairs was past its best......but wouldnt put us off going again!

Checked in over a very busy, bustling Easter Saturday. Room was clean, needed a swift around the skirting boards and surface areas. It's just the small things that make a great stay,

Cons:

It must see some footfall this pub and accommodation, but for £200 a night stay you are paying for the location! not the venue.
Restaurant booking was simple, albeit menu choice annoying as we left due to insufficient choice on a Saturday evening at 7pm. Went to the staple and had a great time! Breakfast was very good. tentative and fully stocked.? The team at the OVH were great. A vibrant atmosphere.

Comfortable, quiet and a great view
Pros:

Large bright room with lovely view, comfy bed, powerful shower, and good tea and biscuit selection. Surprisingly very quiet considering it's located right on the harbour. Also had a lovely breakfast!

Cons:

The room decor was a bit tired looking e.g. could do with a repaint and there were a couple of damp patches on the ceiling - from previous leaks I'm guessing (I'm aware it's an old building). Also we had issues with wifi so we ended up using our hotspot to watch TV.
