Bed was comfortable . Dining areas and bar attractive . Staff helpful efficient pleasant . Went above and beyond to find me when I left my phone behind . Good location

My wife and I stayed in the Old Custom House, Padstow on 4/2/2026. We had a lovely clean, well stocked ( including a coffee machine)room with fantastic views of the harbour and estuary.
We had a very tasty evening meal and there was plenty to choose from the menu. The breakfast was very welcoming and I was delighted to have the hogs pudding included.
The staff were very friendly and helpful ( especially Amy on reception).
We will definitely stay here again.

She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Kim really made our visit special. We will definitely be back.

Kim was absolutely fantastic From the moment we arrived, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She knew the menu very well so she was able to make great recommendations, she always checked in at just the just the right time without being intrusive. Drinks and food came out quickly and were fantastic she made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. Excellent service like this really makes a visit special thanks, Kim.

Kim was an incredible waitress. She was funny, genuinely kind, and very captivating. She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down and kept the vibe light and enjoyable the entire time. Her sense of humor and warm personality truly elevated the whole experience. We had the pie and mash, which was absolutely delicious and comforting perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Service like Kim’s is rare, and between her amazing energy and the great food, she’s a big reason we’ll be coming back.

We had an amazing experience thanks to the fantastic staff. Kim was an absolute star friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. A huge shoutout to Laura and Jess behind the bar, who were both very welcoming, and made great drinks with a smile they were both super friendly.

Fantastic customer service throughout our stay, we were really looked after, it was our Anniversary and really touched by upgrade on room and lovely Prosecco at dinner. Such a fab gesture thank you. We were served by Nick and Judy both excellent friendly staff.

We had a fantastic experience during our visit to the Old Custom House, Kim was an absolutely brilliant waitress very friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Laura behind the bar was just as amazing, serving great drinks with a smile and keeping everything running smoothly. Together they made the whole visit feel special. We will most definitely be visiting again when we next visit padstow.
