The team were really welcoming and helpful. Even sorting me a take away breakfast as I was leaving at 6am to walk before the heat.
Good location, good breakfast
Our room had no water from the sink ...not acceptable.
The waiting staff at breakfast need more training ...a bit chaotic.
The room was at the side and extremely noisy ...near a pub etc that had a band on and it was so loud I thought they were playing in our room! Did not get to sleep till 1am...thank goodness we did not have children with us.

A tale of two halves. Was assigned a fairly grotty room at the back, overlooking the extraction system for the kitchen. In fitness, when I complained the following morning, they moved (and upgraded) me for my second night to a lovely room at the front overlooking the harbour.
I thought the food in the restaurant was very good, and that was on the first night when I was in poor form about the grotty room, so it must have been properly good!
Comfy room , plenty of storage , great b/ fasts & friendly staff .
Water pressure bit low in shower
Location right on the harbour could not have been better. Staff were all really pleasant, friendly and helpful. Ellie went out of her way to help us with before and during our stay, she runs the place brilliantly. Good cooked breakfast options all cooked very well. Parking immediately across the road in public car park was £10/ day which given the location and demand for parking is not too bad.
Very small issue that the room was a little tired out. It did not detract from our overall experience and was fresh and clean.

Tired furnishings, bed not great. But it is about to be renovated so I imagine it will be great after this.

Clearly a fab location and the staff throughout were very friendly and helpful. Also a fab breakfast menu.
We have visited the pub on several occasions but not stayed over for a number of years. The location of the room was fab however they do need a little uplift and possible redecoration.
Characterful property, location was amazing, overlooking the harbour, parking although not free was very easy in a very reasonably priced car park opposite. good bar and restaurant facilities, plentiful breakfast.
The small things - outside of our part of the building was tired, window frames needed painting, window needed cleaning, lightbulb needed changing, curtain needed hooking onto rail properly, bed was uncomfortable / too soft, wardrobe door couldn't open fully as bed frame too close to it, carpets a bit old. Great character but in need of some modernisation, also quite expensive.
