The whole trip - would not recommend
Very satisfied with our room ,staff friendly and helpful.
We booked table for dinner in the restaurant 18.30, although only one table occupied we were seated at 18.50 .. 19.10 we left to eat elsewhere as not been served even for a drink. Such a shame as other restaurants locally were packed..

De kamer is wat klein en voelt wat benauwd door schuine wanden, vooral trap en halletje ernaar toe donker en krap. Bedden waren wel perfect! Ontbijt stelt niet veel voor
Excellent location in the heart of the town. Perfect for walking to drinks or dinner. Parking available across the road from the hotel.

The staff were very friendly but at times were very slow in serving
Wunderschöne, sehr grosszügige Wohnung. Zwei grosse Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist gut, sehr nahe zum Zentrum.
Leider war das Wohnzimmer sehr dunkel aufgrund der zugewachsenen Fenster.

At £240 per night, the room was astonishingly expensive and poor value for money. The room definitely needs a refresh, could do with a lick of paint to brighten it up. No views. Above or next to us was a venue where we could hear live singing late at night preventing us from sleeping. Large spill stains on the carpet. No bath. No onsite parking facilities. Had to use the local car park which was £10 per day. If we had stayed longer it would have worked out very expensive. Food was good but expensive. £30. for seabass and £14.00 for 4 scallops.

Expensive wine. 2 glasses for £29, cheaper at Rick Steins earlier.

We booked a Harbour View Signature Room - but beware - the Signature rooms are all different - but currently the same price! Might be a good idea to have a different pricing structure for the various Signature rooms…
The hotel is slightly tired but due for a massive revamp early 2027 - would love to return!
Beds were way too soft - felt like a water bed!
Quite a few stairs - it’s an old place so don’t expect a lift! Help given with luggage.
Location is fantastic with parking nearby.
