Schöner Innenhof

Cons:

Im ersten Zimmer ist der Lattensost des Bettes durchgerechnet, so dass wir am Boden lagen. Wir bekamen ein neues Zimmer, wo wir jedoch auch erst die Stützfüsse herrichten mussten, um nicht nochmal dasselbe zu erleben. Die Betten sind mehrmals mit Winkel und Latten provisorisch zusammen geflickt worden. Der Pool war so dreckig, dass man nicht mal due Bodenfliesen erkennen konnte, sehr trüb und viel zu warm; eine riichtige Brutstatte für Bakterien. Eine Schande, sowas den Gästen anzubieten, selbst bei der Preisklasse.

Das Zimmer entspricht nicht der Buchung !Ich habe ein Deluxe Zimmer gebucht und das war Maximal ein Standard Zimmer !
Das Bad war nicht sauber und das ganze Zimmer war nicht angemessen groß Max vielleicht 13 qm !
Ich weiß das das Hotel wesentlich schönere Zimmer hat !

Petit déjeuner très décevant. Nourriture grasse et peu appétissante. Odeurs de nourriture médiocre et mal cuisinée dans la salle du petit déjeuner. Nous n'avons mangé que des fruits. Tout le reste correspond à des aliments industriels, très bon marché et mal cuisinés. Odeurs désagréables dans la salle de petit déjeuner.

Bien situé dans le centre, un bon choix pour profiter des animations de Vientiane. Piscine et patio agréables.

Maybe okay for a short stop on the way to another place, but not worth a longer stay
Pros:

The staff was kind and helped us book trains and buses for the rest of the trip. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Pool was disappointing, too small and dirty. Room was small and the bathroom was run down, with old hair in the shower drain.

L’emplacement était ok

Cons:

L’insalubrité, la moisissure, l’humidité dans la chambre qui faisait que les lits, serviettes etc étaient tous mouillés. Surtout la chambre en bas, ils m’ont changé de chambre pour le 4eme c’était un peu mieux.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Mali Namphu Hotel while handling some visa-related travel in Laos, and overall, I had a genuinely pleasant experience that I would recommend to other solo travelers and short-term visitors.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable regarding the check-in process. I arrived several hours before the official check-in time due to my bus schedule, and the hotel was more than accommodating in allowing me to safely store my luggage in the lobby while I explored the city. That small gesture immediately made the stay feel welcoming and convenient.

One of the hotel’s greatest strengths is its location. If you enjoy walkable cities, this is an excellent base. Within a short walking distance, there are multiple restaurants, cafés, smoothie shops, nightlife spots, the mall, and even the bus station. I especially appreciated being able to explore most of the area entirely on foot in about 10–15 minutes. Bike rentals are also available nearby for travelers who prefer them, but as someone who enjoys experiencing a city at street level, the location was ideal for walking.

The breakfast service was another highlight. The continental-style breakfast included all the essentials, with hot coffee, fresh eggs prepared onsite, and a rotating fruit selection that included dragon fruit, watermelon, oranges, and cantaloupe during my stay. Everything was fresh and satisfying. One suggestion I would offer is expanding the fruit and beverage options slightly — perhaps incorporating a small smoothie station or fruit bar. Given the accessibility of fresh fruit in the region, this could elevate the breakfast experience even further and create a more memorable offering for guests.

Housekeeping was exceptional throughout my stay. My room was cleaned daily without fail, fresh towels were provided every day, and the overall cleanliness inside the room was excellent. I also appreciated the minibar and in-room refresh
