Great location, fantastic view in the room, the host was kind.
This condo was not worth the money we spent. The check in procedure was a nightmare. Security who was suppose to assist with our check in was not helpful at all. The room was so small you couldn't fit two people in the kitchen at one time. The shower and tub looked gross but you had no choice but to use it. The room could use a coat of paint and some updating. We were there 12 days and they left us with two rolls of toilet paper, no dish soap and one tea towel. All in all totally disappointing after we had such a good experience on the big island and Maui.
Poor communication between security and guests. Fire alarm went off at 3:00 AM and we were on the 43rd floor. No one called or came to clarify information and we staggered down to lobby to inquire. Didn't feel much confidence in this group. Room itself needed some upgrade, especially the bathroom. Pool facilities were very nice and views very good.
Room was a decent size with fairly big balcony. Beds are old and uncomfortable with one of the beds sitting right next to a window so when you sleep your blanket keeps hitting the blinds which are really old. Bathroom is outdated and tub drains very slow. It is located within five minute walk of everything but good luck finding a parking spot.
We were pleasantly surprised to find that the kitchenette had a full-sized fridge and kitchenware (plate, silver, and glasses) as well as a toaster and rice cooker. The room was a nice size, but we were expecting a dining area. We either ate on the beds or on the balcony. The balcony was huge and had a sofa with a low table and a higher table with a couple chairs (which might have been the dining area if it were moved inside.) The only negatives to our stay were finding a fingernail clipping in the bedding (not ours) and a very odd incident on our last night where a guy in the elevator followed us to our room and then told us he had been in our room earlier in the week and had lost the key, then he found it and gave it to me to give to the property manager. It was indeed a key to our room, and it disturbs me to think that first, a key to our room was running around out there while we were staying in it, and second, if we hadn't been in the elevator with that guy, what was his intention in going up to our floor that night? Would he have knocked on our door? Tried to slide it under the door? Or just enter our room without permission? It was disturbing and freaked out my daughter. We just left that extra key with ours in the room when we checked out.
