Wonderful family run hotel. Although apparantly it was full, we didn't really see anyone so it was like our own secluded house. Loved the beautiful garden, loungers which we had direct access to and flowers. Felt like being In our own garden. Very unique and individual features. Our room and bathroom was very big as we had the jacuzzi room which was fun. The beds were soft and comfortable. Lots of storage space. Nice smelling toiletries. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, lovely eating on the beautiful terrace. We enjoyed a gourmet dinner on the terrace too, beautifully delicate flavours and presentation. The dining room also looked stunning and set beautifully, nice for a special occasion. The Wellness centre is huge and unusual to have waterbeds. Really enjoyed the Roman style baths with heated rooms and stone couches which I've not experienced before. Very relaxing and soothing . Interesting water features and hammam showers. Staff are attentive and helpful. Handy to be near to the pharmacy , garages and also a big cactus where they have everything. The bus stops to town are not far 5 mins but there is also a free navette service from the pharmacy which took us a scenic route by vineyards to the waterfront where we enjoyed a boat trip. The hotel is next to the forest trail so enjoyed a bit of nature too.We were only here 3 nights but it felt like a real holiday. Thank you all at domaine de la foret.
As it was so hot during our stay, the room was a bit stuffy. There is air conditioning that works but it was quite noisy. We were roadside as wanted the room with bath. So did sit out the front to get some air. Comfortable seats and beautiful flowers and architecture but it is on a main road so its very noisy with the traffic. In the day we enjoyed the back garden which was quiter and rooms without the bath are at the back I believe so are probably quieter.

Location in town was good. It was close to the wine farms. Not all wine farms are open. The sauna and the steam room were a great plus.
The staff were unfriendly. It was expensive. The bed was uncomfortable. We expected to be staying on a wine farm as that is what was advertised but it was located in the town.
