Short stay, no sleep, suffocating.

My room!!!
I booked a room with a Queen size bed. I walked in and nearly fell on top of it. No room for anything else. No drawers, no wardrobe , no seat/chair., no desk.
Even worse, was that the windows couldn’t open (“health and safety reasons”on 6th floor), and the aircon didn’t give any air at all. It was a tiny, hot sweat box!!! The weather was lovely 15-25’C, but I could not sleep in that state.
I moved into a much better place around the corner, same price.

Pleasant.
Pros:

It was clean and not too far from the station but hoped I would have been closer to Gamla Stan.

Cons:

For a 4 night stay it would have been nice to get fresh towels half way through the stay.

Small clean rooms with windows! Still can't comprehend rooms without windows in Sweden hotels =)
Not much of a furniture in the room, but lots of hooks. All well-thought of. Really enjoyed small convenience store offering in the lobby and self check-in process.

What if a Youth Hostel and a Moxy met in a bar and then had a love child?
Pros:

This is Scandic Go…a somewhat over complex check-in process if you don’t avail yourself of the online option…an eclectic lobby and bar…a room that reminds you of a classic Tokyo hotel, with but enough room to walk around both sides of the bed (if you know, you know) and that’s it…decidedly pared down room fitting out, yet useful…a small, efficient and effective bathroom…and a mirror on the wall that’s almost the size of the bed (mercifully offset).

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I certainly find most of the choices logical and reasonable. The location is near unbeatable, perhaps 3-4 blocks from Central Station, and a block or two off some of the primary shopping streets.

Comfortable place with casual atmosphere
Pros:

Staff were welcoming and warm-hearted, and the reception opened 24-hr.
The room had adequate space, moderate lighting and a wide window.
There was free laundry at the entry floor and plenty of hangers in the room.
Though there was no breakfast buffet, they had various options of sandwiches, pastries and beverages for breakfast.
It's easy to reach from Centralstation on foot, and you can also get there from T-tåg Hötorget or Rådmansgatan station. Near Kungsgatan.

Amazing! I’d suggest requesting a street facing room.

I didn’t have an option to pick a room and got an interior room that looked to a wall and was a bit dark
