Cavo D'Oro Hotel

Beautiful Hotel ! We had to check out before breakfast so unsure how that was. Rooms are outdated & we had several stains on the carpet of our room. Shower was very very small.

We booked a room for four. Me, my wife and my two teenage daughters

The place is olddddd

We walk in the room and my girls shreaked, as two huge cockroaches were walking the walls and ceilings

Absolutely disgusting

We went to the front desk and got two rooms instead . No one even apologized!

Needless to say did my wife hates me for booking such a low rating hotel. Who would have thought it's gonna be so bad?

We booked it so we are close to the pireus port the next morning, on our way to the islands

The hotel is so old and needs to be redone....yesterday! You literally think you are in the 80's. Old furniture, old yucky wall 2 wall carpeting.... yuck

The breakfast was good, will give them that

I'm not one of those who will give bad rating to someones business, but you cant stoop so low with such a disgusting room!!!

We had our best stay here.
We slept very well and had an amazing breakfast included!

It was like a nightmare, smelled really bad and was really hot even with the AC. We couldn’t sleep because something kept playing a melody from our wardrobe.
We also had trouble finding our room because the numbers was much smaller than the others. Not clean at all everything felt like it was covered in dust. Don’t recommend at all.

Great customer service. Amazing breakfast. Unique view of the Aegean. Nice location to walk to train station, or for a stroll at Pasalimani area. Located next to a grocery store. Safe to walk around.
The building is old but gives a vintage character. The only thing is that for sure could be much cleaner.

Stayed here a night before and a night after a short small boat cruise out of Marina Zea, Piraeus near Athens. Great access to the Zea 3 minutes by taxi or 5 by bus. Short stroll to Mikro Limona small port with loads of tavernas/ fish/ steak restaurants all good food and value. Eclectic mix of traditional furnishings in the hotel and very friendly staff. Great value with everything very clean if not the most modern. Sea views and a great supermarket a few steps away. Highly recommended by Johnny and Donna

Hotellet er sliten 1970 talls hotell. Dører og kjøleskapet henger så boidt i sammen. Bestill for all del ikke det billigste alternativet det er rett og slett dårlig. Bestill med havutsikt og du får med balkong. Offentlig badestrand er rett ved hotellet

For the money you pay very good.

We had a few rooms as we had all come to watch the Greece v England game. Some of us had better views than others. The lucky ones had balconies with stunning views across the marina.
The location is great, peaceful surroundings with a convenient supermarket next door and walkable to nice restaurants and bars. Also easy to get into the centre of Athens.
Breakfast is included, pretty basic but does the job. Would recommend as a budget hotel for the area.

Nice lobby and seating areas. Very old and worn out room. Door could't close to the toilet room.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. GREAT stay.

We enjoyed this hotel because it has a lot of personality and history and the services is very friendly. Most of all the view is amazing. Prices are very reasonable.

Hotellet har set bedre dage, ingen tvivl om det. Men nogle gange støder man på steder hvor en hvis slitage, en gammeldags indretning og en historie giver stedet charme.

Vi havde et værelse med altan ud til havet. Det gav lidt støj om aftenen. Til gengæld vågnede vi til den flotteste udsigt.

Personalet var gennemgående venligt og hjælpsom. Vi vil vælge stedet en anden gang.
