Friendly hosts and superb location
Pros:

Very nice hosts and friendly service. Maps and personal suggestions of activities. Balcony view to the sea and sitting on Balcony was very nice for Athens busy life and different vibe.

Pros:

Die Familie war sehr aufgstellt und hilfsbereit! Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl und haben selten so gut geschlafen in einem Hotel! Die Matratze war sehr gut! Die Lage war ebenfalls sehr gut und kann zu Fuss von der Fähre direkt ins Hotel gehen. Kommen gerne wieder!👍

För några dygn att upptäcka Egina så är Plaza hotel ok. Balkongen som vette ut mot havet var rogivande att koppla av på.
Pros:

Läget perfekt ! Gångavstånd till utbudet i Egina stad och färjeläget. Trevlig gästvänlig värdfamilj. Rum med balkong mot havet är ett plus.

Cons:

Något lyhört. Fuktigt nattetid i rummet, täcken vore ett plus i februari. Badrummet i minsta laget.

Only the view
Pros:

View was wonderful.
Air-condition eventually worked
Location was convenient for exploring the town.
Price without breakfast was ok.
Hospitality was warm and mostly pleasant.
Hotel staff attended the malfunctions.
Hotel owner helped us rent a car.

Cons:

A basic room. Air-condition was cleaned and managed to cope with the heat , not sure about July and August.
Shower hose broke down, was fixed only the next day.
A big cockroach was found
No double glazing, therefore noise from the road, so earplugs were required.
We didn't mind the steps.
Listening to hostile personal political remarks from a member of staff was not welcomed.

A warm and friendly stay on Aegina
Pros:

We have been so happy to have found this beautiful friendly family hotel overlooking the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Very short walk to the beautiful colourful old town, lively restaurants, harbour and port, beaches and the amazing Temple of Apollo. Our room was comfortable and always cleaned daily by a lovely lady. It had a TV, fridge and private bathroom and a balcony that overlooked the sea and we enjoyed a few swims right out front. We were greeted so warmly on arrival and everyday by Salvatore, Yannis and Eric who treated us like family and helped us with local tips and hiring a car to see the rest of this amazing island. What a privilege to have stayed at Plaza hotel. Thank you 🙏🏻

Pros:

Convenient location. Quick walk to downtown. Across from the beach and yummy restaurants. Owner is very nice. He made our stay much better.
The room we had was smaller, wish ocean view wouldn’t have been sold out. That looked more spacious
